UFC Fight Night DFS MMA cash picks and strategy for Yan vs Dvalishvili on March 11th starts here! This time we have a 13-fight card taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are several very close matches on this card which will make for some interesting choices in your tournament builds. But, that’s not what this article is about. My goal is to help navigate you through this interesting card and find some solid fighters to begin your cash game construction with.

It may not be the sexiest way to build your bankroll but, over time it can be the most consistent. MMA UFC Cash Game Basics for DFS
In cash games, unlike tournaments, we are trying to build a solid floor with our lineups. Many times that may mean using a fighter with great odds to win or taking someone who is severely mispriced. Cash games are often times card dependent. For example, if a fighter is expected to be chalky in cash games and I feel they are in a good spot I have no problem eating the chalk and just rostering him. After all, he’s chalky for a reason. One major difference between cash and tournament play is getting past your aversion to play the chalk. Often times, the chalk makes a lot of sense. DFS MMA UFC Fight Night Cash Core Plays
Mario Bautista (-1000) 9.7k
Mario finds himself the most expensive fighter on this slate. It’s hard to ignore the upside he offers in this fight. He is the biggest favorite on the slate and has a great wins Inside The Distance Prop of -265. As if that wasn’t enough, he has scored 93.3+ DraftKings points in 4 of his 5 UFC wins. No need to overthink here in your cash builds!! Make the smart play here and lock Bautista in and move on. That’s exactly the route I am taking here.
Carlton Harris (-300) 8.3k
Carlton finds himself priced at only 8.3k and taking on an opponent taking this fight on less than a weeks notice. That means he now finds himself the 2nd biggesst favorite on the card and priced as only the 12th most expensive. That’s insane value for cash games and he should be chalky, but it’s not chalk we want to fade in cash game builds. At this odds value he is the 1st fighter I am locking into my cash game builds period! I strongly suggest you do the same.
Ariane Lipski (+260) 6.8k
In order to fit the higher-priced favorites on this card you are going to have to punt with an underdog or 2 on this card. Ariane is 1 of my favorite cash punts on the entire card because she allows us the luxury to get 2 9k fighters into your cash game builds. Plus this fight carries a -175 Fight Goes To Decision prop. I see no reason she doesn’t reach 20-30 DraftKings points in a decision loss. Not only that she is the 2nd cheapest fighter on the slate! That’s all we need from her at this salary and by using Lipski in your cash builds it allows more flexibility with the rest of your lineup construction. This is the route I am taking on this card and I think you should entertain the thought as well.
Sure, these are MY favorite cash game plays, but maybe you play GPPs or like others. That’s fine…..you need tools, though. MMA UFC Fight To Target In Hybrids/Tournaments
Now that we covered some cash plays. Let’s breakdown 1 fight I really think you should get exposure to in your hybrid and tournament lineups.
Nikita Krylov (-175) 8.7k vs Ryan Spann (+140) 7.5k
This fight carries a Fight Ends Inside Distance prop at -500. Both fighters have paths to putting up strong DFS scores and the winner of this fight has a strong chance to be in the optimal lineup, especially at their salaries. I will personally have a good amount of exposure to this fight in tournaments (north of 60%). This fight will score well for DraftKings purposes. My preferred play is Krylov. I had him picked a few weeks ago before this fight got cancelled. My opinion hasn’t changed since then by any means. Having said that get some exposure to Spann as well. He is definitely live for a 1st Round KO and would more than likely be on the optimal lineup in this scenario. Regardless of how this fight goes I think you need to get heavy exposure to both sides. If you plan on playing multiple lineups in tournaments this is a great fight to target both sides of in my opinion.
