Japan v Poland
Group H is very much up for grabs. Japan is in the driver seat; but, if they aren’t careful, Senegal and Columbia can sneak up and steal the knockout round from their future. This is to say that every play matters and all 4 teams in this group owe it to themselves, and their fans, to play as hard as can be. If we are looking for determination combined with skill, we should look no further than Takashi Inui. He is the one looking to create his own shot. He racks up points even if he doesn’t score. In GPP, I would look at Yuya Osako. Forwards have had success this World Cup but Osako hasn’t showcased the best skill in his finishing.
Poland has looked a bit lost at times. They have a load of talent but they just don’t know how to gel as a team. As such, we can’t count on them too much to do what’s expected of them. I feel like we can trust Maciej Rybus the most but Poland is mostly a GPP team.
Senegal v Colombia
At least one of these teams are moving on to the knockout stage. With such high stakes on the line, this figures to be a game where the defensive is the bigger key. Neither side wants to get too overextended and give up a counter-attack goal. I expect this result to play out in the midfield. Obviously, James Rodriguez is the cashiest of all plays in this game. I also like his understudy, Juan Cuadrado, in GPPs. Sadio Mane is your cash play for Senegal and I am looking to M’Baye Niang in tournaments.

Panama v Tunisia
This one is for all the pride, folks. Neither team has managed a single point, thus far, so both teams should fight extra hard to earn some on their final day of the World Cup. Wahbi Khazri should start in his normal central forward spot and take set-pieces. He is a cash lock for me. I spy a few guys I might like to pair him with but my favorite of them is Saif-Eddine Khaoui. Panama doesn’t have any cash plays for my taste, but this is a game where Blas Perez could shine. This team has only managed 1 goal and while they could score, they are best served as GPP plays.
England v Belgium
Who wants to be appointed Group G victors? Well, whoever gets it will likely do so with their B squad. Both teams are already moving on so this is a good opportunity to play the bench and save your starters for more meaningful matches. We know the styles but not so much the players so we are looking at this one as more GPP plays and perhaps attacking this game with set-piece takers for cash. Only Marcus Rashford fits the bill for cash because we don’t know who would likely step into the set-piece role for Belgium. I guess you’ll just have to join us in slack to look more in depth at this one.
