Sweden v South Korea
South Korea is a team that is a bit lacking in quality but they have the ability to break through with their pace. Unfortunately for them, they are up against a very disciplined defense that sits deep in their own end. They should invite South Korea to possess the ball a little and look to hit them on the counter. The most dangerous footballer in the counter is Emil Forsberg. He will be on direct kicks and heavily involved in the play for Sweden. Forsberg is someone I would think about for my cash games. In GPPs, however, I am going to look to the man playing in front of Forsberg to exploit South Korea’s back 3, Marcus Berg. South Korea has not shown a consistent ability to close out opposing forwards and he is a strong finisher with a penchant for prime positioning. They will have their hands full.
South Korea’s bright spot is Son Heung-Min. You might remember him as the pacey attacking midfielder streaking down the left side of Tottenham’s attack. He is going to do similar things for his country and take the lion’s share of his team’s shots. This is a situation we can leverage. The masses look at the slate and see “2 clear winners” and they know you need to be contrarian somehow to do well in GPP. Son will be the highest owned South Korean player on the slate, but that is not how you beat Sweden. I will be looking to the midfield if these guys make my lineup at all. They aren’t all that accurate so they would best be used in large field GPPs.

Everyone starts somewhere in DFS. Sometimes players with no experience just want to watch some games with a little action. And, sometimes, those players win after reading a little guiding content from our coaches. This can be you starting today!
Belgium v Panama
This just in: Belgium is awesome! They are deep and they are potent. For the people who play premier league soccer, this may sound weird but the chalk, and the start of all of my cash lineups is Romelu Lukaku. Their style of play allows the mids to get deep and work the ball inside of 8 yds repeatedly. Lukaku will shoot a lot and shoot on target with amazing regularity. Seeing is believing. Forget just cash, I will have him in all formats.
Panama is making their debut in the tournament and they are about to get a rude welcoming. They come in with a talented, but flawed, group of players. I don’t see them being able to garner much possession in this one and will have to look to counter. For you Fanduelers, you can take a peek at the Panamanian centerbacks. They could make an ok punt in DK GPPs, too. They should be under siege all day and even Steven Seagal won’t even be able to save them. Belgium isn’t without their flaws and a man by the name of Yoel Barcenas is someone who can exploit them. He is GPP, if you dare.
If you are still wary and wish to try before you buy, check out these options that could get you a free month of the DFS Army! You won’t be disappointed. The helmets on our crowded testimonials page on our site speak for themselves. We can make more room, though!
Tunisia v England
If you aren’t a member of the DFS Army, you missed a lot of chatter about this match. The outcome should go a long way to determining the team breaking pool in 2nd place. The battle will be played in the midfield with both teams making that the focus. It’s going to get crowded. I can’t tell you who will win. I know that this game is perfect for GPPs, though. We will be analyzing each team’s tactics and best plays so before I leave you, I will give you one cash play to keep your cash builds going. Ali Maaloul. During qualification, he led the team in shot assists and crosses. It also helps that he is not an aggressive player and he is easy on your salary cap.
That’s all she wrote. Thanks for reading. After this, we are saving the analysis for the VIPs. There is much more in the way of picks, stats, coaching new players, teaching strategy, and even semi-witty banter waiting within the friendly confines of the DFS Army. To the VIPs, Let’s crush! To those on the outside, good luck.
