Welcome to the 1st card of 2018. Hope everyone had a great New Years. This week we have a 13 fight card. Also, take note that this is a Sunday card. Kang (-345) 9.2k vs Cannetti (+285) 7k
Both of these fighters are coming into this fight off considerable long layoffs. Kang has a very good ground game. He also as nice transitions once he gets you on the mat and also has a good top game as well. Cannnetti is a tough fighter. He is a good kickboxer which translates to him having solid leg kicks. He has also shown in past to not have the best cardio. I like Kang in all formats. Cannetti is worth a few shots in GPPs if you are building more than 10 lineups.
Santiago (-200) 8.7k vs Burnell (+170) 7.5k
This fight screams GPP to me. I am not confident in either fighter to consider them in cash games. Santiago is a good striker all around. Something to take note off (Santiago has lost multiple times via submission). Burnell has a good ground game with decent submissions. I will have exposure to both of these fighters in tournaments. For salary savings alone I like Burnell more. But, will also have lineups with Santiago as well.
Aldrich (-120) 8.3k vs Taylor (+100) 7.9k
I know often times I suggest making some stands and fades with constructing your lineups. This fight I will be pretty low owned in overall. There is definitely the idea of fading this fight completely and I have no problem with doing that. Aldrich is a solid wrestler with a decent ground. Taylor is athletic with decent combos. She is often times hard to hit. I don’t like the fact that she is low output. So i might have Taylor in more lineups for salary savings. I might just fade this fight completely.

Aldana (-235) 9k vs Bernardo (+195) 7.2k
Another fight to target in tournaments. Aldana is a good striker with solid leg kicks. She also has good speed and good combos.
Bernardo has solid BJJ and that’s about it. Don’t go crazy when putting together lineups as this could be a low scoring fight.
Eye (-120) 8.1k vs Faria (+100) 8.1k
Eye is a decent striker and has way more experience overall. Faria is a striker with decent leg kicks. She also has good takedowns. I think if building more than 10 lineups that’s when I will start using either of these 2 two.
Cumminngs (-200) 8.8k vs Alves (+170) 7.4k
Cummings is a tough fighter. He is a solid striker and decent on the ground. Alves is a good striker with solid leg kicks. Alves is a good striker with good leg kicks. This fight screams that you need to have some exposure in tournaments.

Frevola (-235) 8.9k vs Reyes (+195) 7.3k
Frevola is a solid striker with good takedowns and decent submissions. Reyes also throws together decent combinations. I like Reyes in all formats. I think this is a very winnable fight for Reyes. I will also use Frevola in some as well.
Krause (-160) 8.4k vs White (+140) 7.8k
Krause is a solid striker with ok wrestling. White is a good striker with good power. Overall I prefer White for the salary savings. I will have some of Krause as well.
Johnson (-160) 8.6k vs Elkins (+140) 7.6k
Johnson is dropping down a weight class. He is s solid striker with good hand speed. Elkins is tough overall. He is good in the clinch and has good takedowns. Both are playable in tournaments. Elkins will be a popular punt play. This makes me want to have some exposure to Johnson as well.

Usman (-650) 9.4k vs Meek (+475) 6.8k
Usman is very good overall. He is a good striker and solid takedowns. Meek is a decent striker with good power. Usman is playable in all formats. I don’t mind the idea of not going all in with Usman and pivoting down to a lower owned fighter. I don’t mind firing a few shots with Meek
Clark (-125) 8.2k vs VanZant (+105) 8k
Clark will have a size advantage. Clark is a good striker with solid wrestling. VanZant, in my opinion, isn’t very good overall. Even with saving this I know she will be popular. I like Clark in all formats. VanZant will either be a full fade for me or very light overall.
Hall (-325) 9.1k vs Belfort (+265) 7.1k
Hall is a good striker overall. He also has decent TD. Belfort will come out very quickly. As long as Hall weather’s this initial onslaught he will be golden. I like Hall in all formats. Belfort is worthy of a few lineups.

Choi (-160) 8.5k vs Stephens (+140) 7.7k
For cash its simple stack this fight and move on.
Choi is a good striker with good leg kicks as well. Stephens has good power with good leg kicks. I think in tournaments you need to be all in on this fight as a whole.
