It happened again. I cannot make this stuff up if I wanted to. Last night on DraftKings, we had another member win $50,000! This is our fifth member in the last 52-days to win over $50,000! We have had a $53,000 winner in NBA, a $150,000 winner in NFL, a $100,000 win in NBA, and this $50,000 win in Week 12 of the NFL season. The DFS Army helmets are up and down the standings across all DFS platforms and our membership is closing in on 2,000 because of it. We have enormous momentum, no doubt about it.

NBA DFS is a different kind of beast. Studs can outright win you a GPP with a massive performance and value plays can be brought to light just minutes before contest lock time due to late scratches or breaking news. It isn’t for the faint of heart and the most dedicated researchers and news followers will have a significant edge over the field. This column will be loaded with valuable research, metrics, and analysis on how to use this information in your contests.
Before we get started I just wanted to post this here just in case any of OUR members missed it on our VIP Slack this morning. We’ve had four qualifier seats won on DK, five wins between $50,000 and $150,o00 and dozens of 5-digit winning lineups by members over the past 52-days. I sent this little message out in Slack this morning because recently, our members keep praising the staff in Slack for all our extra one-on-one work and discussions. Point Guards
John Wall was ruled out on Tuesday after being upgraded to questionable. If he is upgraded to probable and is indeed active for Wednesday’s game, he immediately becomes a steal on DraftKings ($7,900). Barring a significant minutes restriction, Wall would have the opportunity to smash his GPP value at his current price tag.
John’s usage rate is the third highest at the point guard position tonight (29.0%) and his FP/Min rate of 1.21 points is the third highest as well. If he plays his normal 34.0 Min/Game, taking his usage and production into account, he’s the ideal point guard for anybody who plans on going the MME route for GPPs.
Chris Paul is underpriced on DraftKings ($8,400) and that is where I’ll get my exposure to him on Wednesday. The Rockets have an implied total of 116.0 points, currently the most on the slate. Paul has played over 30-minutes in 6 of the last 7 games and taken 14-plus field goal attempts in four straight games.
The increased shooting volume has resulted in games of 38.50, 58.25, 43.25, and 48.75 DraftKings points in the last four outings. He’s on fire, he’s too cheap, and he will dismantle Kemba Walker “defense” for thirty minutes.
Damian Lillard can’t get any respect on DraftKings, as he’s still priced at just $9,000. He has played 40-plus minutes in 4 of the last 7 games and at least 37 in all of them. Over the last four games, he’s shot the ball 25 times per game, including 12 three-point attempts per game.
He has scored over 50.00 DraftKings points in 4 of the last 8 games and is the ideal GPP option as many people are going to either pay down or go up to Russell Westbrook. Lillard continues to outproduce guards priced all around him and has seen neither a price increase nor an ownership spike. Yes, please!
Eric Bledsoe looks like a solid cash game option as the Bucks take on the Pelicans on the road. Bledsoe is priced to value which doesn’t leave a lot of wiggle room for a ceiling. However, he’s played over 31-minutes in five straight games and has had a usage rate over 21% in 8 of the last 9 games. Heavy minutes with a solid usage rate against a team that can’t defend the perimeter shot should boost Bledsoe’s production.
Kyle Lowry is in an incredible spot on Wednesday. The Raptors are implied to score 114.0 points and it is a pace-up game for Toronto. Individually, Lowry gets to face the worst team in the league against opposing point guards. Lowry also just had a price drop on FanDuel. He’s a fantastic ladder system point guard for tonight’s slate.
The Ladder System is a strategy we teach our members to use to maximize their ROI based on a strict bankroll investment strategy and specific contest selection. There is nothing like it anywhere in the industry and is a huge reason why we have such an enormous member retention rate. Rajon Rondo continues to outperform his sub-6k price tag on FanDuel. His minutes’ spike over the last two games is showing he’s healthy (37 and 42 minutes) and his production over the last six proves he’s found his rhythm in the offense (36.10 FanDuel points or more in five games).
He’s incredibly cheap and offers tremendous upside. If Anthony Davis is out, Rondo likely is a mortal lock for me on FanDuel. If Davis is in, Rondo is likely a mortal lock for me on FanDuel. You see what I did there? Don’t overthink this one and get too cute. He’s a cost-effective point guard with a strong floor/ceiling combination that will allow you to pay up at other weaker positions.

Forwards
I believe there are only 5/6 options at both SF/PF combined and will be discussing these positions with members only in Slack. I have a nice GPP strategy I am going to lay out today during my afternoon “notes update” in Slack, it will discuss primarily what to do with the forward and center spot and how to use the plethora of usable guards to maximize my scoring ceiling. Game theory is going to be key.

I am going to break down the centers for our members only in some “pre-game” notes, similar to what the other main coaches do in Slack for our members. I also will differentiate who I think are my top cash game and GPP options between the above players and update my thoughts and opinions – just like our other four NBA coaches and writers do in our pre-game “Slack Notes”.
