Studs and Stacks – March 21
In this article, we spotlight today’s top NHL DFS studs and stack recommendations, focusing on high-upside players and synergistic line combinations that can elevate your lineups. Whether you’re targeting cash games or GPPs, these picks are designed to maximize value and exposure. Let’s dive into the matchups and identify the key players to target.
STUDS
The Center: Nick Suzuki
One of the league’s most underrated stars, Suzuki is eighth in the league in scoring and is on pace for just under 100 points, which is stellar. Decent spot as well at home versus a good Islanders defense, but I’m fine with continuing to roll with the Canadiens’ offense in this one.
The Wing: David Pastrnak
The Bruins’ undisputed leader, Pasta continues to just be his elite self. He’s got an eight-game point streak (five goals and seven helpers), and against a Red Wings team with a questionable-at-best defense, he should be able to hit his floor with relative ease with a great shot at a ceiling performance.

The Defenseman: Evan Bouchard
Worth some shares of the defenseman with the highest ceiling tonight even in a tough matchup, and the Oilers will need to match the Bolts’ production (which they absolutely can do), and if they are, he’s very likely a big part of that, so I want exposure to that.
The Value: Marco Rossi
Three goals and six assists in his last five games; we are starting to see why Minnesota thought hard about giving him up for Quinn Hughes.
STACKS
The Full: OTT (Stutzle-Tkachuk-Batherson-Cozens)
Two Canadien teams going at it; they’re going in opposite directions, and that’s a big reason why the Senators are in this spot. Toronto is in a nosedive and on the second half of a back-to-back, and these four are the likely producers of fantasy goodness tonight. You can also mix in Giroux and Grieg as secondary/cheap pieces if you like.
The Mini: DET (DeBrincat-Raymond)
With Dylan Larkin still out, these two have to step up if the Wings want to hold on to their tenuous grip on a playoff spot, and it’ll be tough even at home against a hot Boston team. Upside is there, though, and it’s a way to get different on this smaller slate without getting too crazy.
