Zero to Hero: Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – December 6

Zero to Hero:  Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – December 6

Over the blue line and through the D to the goalie’s net we go.

The premise of each article in this series is to feature a few “safe” foundational plays to build some strong cash lines around as well as to offer any props or straight bets that have some solid potential.  We’re looking for players and teams that have a solid floor and are in a good spot matchup-wise; these will be the building blocks of a booming bankroll.  (Yeah, I alliterized…deal with it.)  I will also provide a recap from the day before and rewind to see if we were on the right plays.  Keep in mind that just like a regular season, the building of a solid bankroll is a grind – it requires patience, mental fortitude, and discipline to weather the cold streaks until things turn around and you go on a heater.

Recap from 12/5

THE BUILDER – DECEMBER 6
The Player Builder
:   Connor McDavid ($DK / $10100 FD)
Back to being the best player in the world; six-game points streak (four goals and 12 assists) and facing a gettable Canes defense.

The Stack Builder:  TB1 (Kucherov-Point-Stamkos-Hedman)
The high-upside Bolts face a Penguins team that is slumping a little bit (3-7 in their last ten games), and I like attacking that here.  These four are all L1/PP1, but they’re too expensive to stack them all together, so mix and match; Paul is the final PP1 piece, so mix him in as well for some secondary correlation and some salary savings.

The Bet Builder:  TB/VGK ML (found around +170)
Lightning ML (facing the Penguins) can be found around -135.

Golden Knights ML (facing the Blues) can be found around -160.
