Zero to Hero: Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 30

Zero to Hero:  Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 30

One more day until December!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature a few “safe” foundational plays to build some strong cash lines around as well as to offer any props or straight bets that have some solid potential.  We’re looking for players and teams that have a solid floor and are in a good spot matchup-wise; these will be the building blocks of a booming bankroll.  (Yeah, I alliterized…deal with it.)  I will also provide a recap from the day before and rewind to see if we were on the right plays.  Keep in mind that just like a regular season, the building of a solid bankroll is a grind – it requires patience, mental fortitude, and discipline to weather the cold streaks until things turn around and you go on a heater.

Recap from 11/29
Player builder:  Vincent Trocheck (one assist; three shots; one hit) ✅
Stack builder:  NYR2 (one goal and one assist) ✅
Bet builder:  NYR/LAK ML ❌
Builder Record: 21-19; +2.05 units

THE BUILDER – NOVEMBER 30
The Player Builder
:  David Pastrnak ($9800DK/ $ 10300 FD)
Have to have exposure to a top-five player against the worst team in hockey.  13 goals and 18 assists in 21 games; averaging just under five shots per game as well, so a great floor and ceiling.

The Stack Builder:  BOS1 (Pastrnak-Marchand)
The chalky stack facing the Sharks.  This grouping can go off at any point, led by Pastrnak, who continues to be the all-world talent he is.  The Sharks are the Sharks.  Mix in McAvoy and JVR for secondary correlation.

The Bet Builder:  BOS/DET ML (found around -145)
Bruins ML (facing the Sharks) can be found around -570.

Red Wings ML (facing the Blackhawks) can be found around -230.
