Zero to Hero: Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 27
Four more days of November…wow. Christmas is right around the corner. 🙂
The premise of each article in this series is to feature a few “safe” foundational plays to build some strong cash lines around as well as to offer any props or straight bets that have some solid potential. We’re looking for players and teams that have a solid floor and are in a good spot matchup-wise; these will be the building blocks of a booming bankroll. (Yeah, I alliterized…deal with it.) I will also provide a recap from the day before and rewind to see if we were on the right plays. Keep in mind that just like a regular season, the building of a solid bankroll is a grind – it requires patience, mental fortitude, and discipline to weather the cold streaks until things turn around and you go on a heater.

THE BUILDER – NOVEMBER 27
The Player Builder: David Pastrnak ($9800 DK / $10400 FD)
Top five player in the world playing like it with 13 goals and 18 assists in 20 games; he is averaging just under five shots per as well, so he’s got a great floor and ceiling. Pricy, but worth it, especially in this matchup.
The Stack Builder: NYR (Panarin-Kreider-Zibanejad)
Rangers are on a roll (they put up seven goals on the Bruins last game). Always a high-upside offense. The second-best power play in the league and the second fewest total goals allowed in the league…this is an appealing spot for the Rangers leverage-wise. Buffalo is average defensively and I want to be over on this grouping tonight. Mix in Trocheck (PP1; three power play goals) and Gustavsson (L1/PP1 and price) for additional correlation.
The Bet Builder: BOS/NYR ML (found around -105)
Bruins ML (facing the Blue Jackets) can be found around -270.
Rangers ML (facing the Sabres) can be found around -235.
