Zero to Hero: Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 26
Still full from Thursday, both from food and from thanks. Next up…Christmas!
The premise of each article in this series is to feature a few “safe” foundational plays to build some strong cash lines around as well as to offer any props or straight bets that have some solid potential. We’re looking for players and teams that have a solid floor and are in a good spot matchup-wise; these will be the building blocks of a booming bankroll. (Yeah, I alliterized…deal with it.) I will also provide a recap from the day before and rewind to see if we were on the right plays. Keep in mind that just like a regular season, the building of a solid bankroll is a grind – it requires patience, mental fortitude, and discipline to weather the cold streaks until things turn around and you go on a heater.

THE BUILDER – NOVEMBER 26
The Player Builder: Zach Hyman ($7200 DK / $8500 FD)
Good upside here; Hyman has been producing very well this season with 10 goals and nine assists in 19 games; he is paired with McDavid and RNH on L1 as well as on PP1. Priced nicely on FD and very well on DK.
The Stack Builder: WPG1 (Connor-Scheifele-Iafallo-Morrissey)
Great upside in this matchup for the Jets tonight. Nashville is middle of the pack in goals allowed but not good at killing penalties (73.2%). Jets power play isn’t that outstanding, but they are seventh in the league in goals per game. Connor is tied for the league lead in goals; he and Scheifele are the anchor pairing, and you want Morrissey and Iafallo as secondary pieces.
The Bet Builder: CAR/WPG ML (found around +130)
Winnipeg ML (facing the Predators) can be found around -125.
Carolina ML (facing the Blue Jackets) can be found around -320.
