Zero to Hero: Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 25

Zero to Hero:  Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 25

Still full from Thursday, both from food and from thanks.  Next up…Christmas!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature a few “safe” foundational plays to build some strong cash lines around as well as to offer any props or straight bets that have some solid potential.  We’re looking for players and teams that have a solid floor and are in a good spot matchup-wise; these will be the building blocks of a booming bankroll.  (Yeah, I alliterized…deal with it.)  I will also provide a recap from the day before and rewind to see if we were on the right plays.  Keep in mind that just like a regular season, the building of a solid bankroll is a grind – it requires patience, mental fortitude, and discipline to weather the cold streaks until things turn around and you go on a heater.

Recap from 11/24

THE BUILDER – NOVEMBER 25
The Player Builder
:  Quinn Hughes ($7600 DK / $8300 FD)
Second in the league in scoring (32 points) against the worst team in the league.  Good price for his upside as well.

The Stack Builder:  VAN PP1 (Miller-Pettersson-Boeser-Hughes)
The unicorn matchup even though the Canucks are on the second half of a back-to-back.  Hughes and Miller are still 1-2 in scoring in the league; Boeser is your third piece, and he has 13 goals of his own, tied for second in the league.  SJ continues to be abysmal (4.32 goals allowed per game on nearly 38 shots).  Pettersson is a secondary piece for mixing and matching; also get some Hronek who is also over a point per game and has moved up to the L1 defensive pairing.

The Bet Builder:   VAN/VGK ML parlay (found around -115)
Vancouver ML (facing the Sharks) can be found around -300.

Vegas ML (facing the Coyotes) can be found around -250.
