Zero to Hero: Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 24

Zero to Hero:  Dominating the NHL Season with Smart Bets – November 24

Still full from yesterday, both from food and from thanks.  Next up…Christmas!

The premise of each article in this series is to feature a few “safe” foundational plays to build some strong cash lines around as well as to offer any props or straight bets that have some solid potential.  We’re looking for players and teams that have a solid floor and are in a good spot matchup-wise; these will be the building blocks of a booming bankroll.  (Yeah, I alliterized…deal with it.)  I will also provide a recap from the day before and rewind to see if we were on the right plays.  Keep in mind that just like a regular season, the building of a solid bankroll is a grind – it requires patience, mental fortitude, and discipline to weather the cold streaks until things turn around and you go on a heater.

Recap from 11/22

THE BUILDER – NOVEMBER 24
The Player Builder
:  Cale Makar ($7900 DK / $8600 FD)
Priced up a little, but matchup and talent are worth it.  Leads the team in scoring with 29 points (24 assists!) in 18 games.  Love the floor and the ceiling that he brings, especially in the matchup tonight against the Wild.

The Stack Builder:  COL PP1
I like the Avs to keep Minnesota’s losing streak (currently at five games) going.  Third-most goals and third-highest goals per game in the league facing a team giving up an average of four per game?  Yes, please.  Mix in Nichushkin and Johansen as secondary pieces.

The Bet Builder:   TOR/NJ ML parlay (found around -110)
Toronto ML (facing the Blackhawks) can be found around -265.

New Jersey ML (facing the Blue Jackets) can be found around -255.
