The first 18 picks were obviously set after the regular season. But, now that we have lost the Wildcard and Divisional Round teams, we can set the order of picks for 27 teams.

After the Houston Texans wild comeback over the Indianapolis Colts, the Chicago Bears secured the #1 overall pick. Houston WAS in line to draft first overall, but played to win instead of tanking like many thought they would.

But, Chicago HAS A Quarterback: Now What?
That’s the fun part. Justin Fields broke out this season and no one can see Chicago trading him away. However, Alabama’s Bryce Young is the consensus favorite to be the first taken off the board. I suppose the Bears will be open to offers for that top pick.
That, alone, adds intrigue to next year’s draft and offseason once Super Bowl LVII concludes in a few weeks.
