Waiver Wire Adds Drops for Week 15 NFL Season Long Fantasy Football | DFS Army

Every week we will be breaking down the top waiver wire adds for your season long fantasy football leagues. This article will highlight some of the key players to target in week 15 and the recommended Free Agent Auction Budget (FAAB) you should spend. This week is particularly important as we enter the fantasy football playoffs.

Check out the video to get a more detailed breakdown and a deeper list of players.

Top Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Targets

Jahan Dotson, Washington Commanders 7-10% FAAB

Jahan Dotson started his rookie campaign with a bang. He scored a touchdown in three of his first four games including two in week 1. Dotson then suffered a hamstring strain that caused him to miss 5 games. Though he was slow to return, Dotson reminded us of his first round ability once again in week 13. He caught 5 of 9 targets and scored another touchdown putting him at 5 touchdowns in 8 games. Dotson also has a relatively favorable matchup in the playoffs facing the Giants, 49ers and Browns. The Giants and Brown in particular are both top 5 teams in fantasy points allowed to outside wide receivers. The Commanders have the playoffs in sight and will need their star rookie wide receiver to make the final push. Dotson is a great depth piece for your fantasy playoffs.

Danny Gray, San Francisco 49ers 2-3% FAAB

Danny Gray was an exciting player to watch in the pre-season. In his very first game he showed off his elite speed catching a long touchdown from Trey Lance. Unfortunately, he hasn’t done much in the regular season to this point. Teammate Deebo Samuel suffered a sprained knee and ankle on Sunday and is looking to miss some time. This could open up an opportunity for Gray to get into the lineup. In all likelihood, the Samuel injury just means more touches for players like Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey. However, we know that coach Kyle Shanahan is a creative play-caller and could work Gray into the game plan to utilize this game-breaking speed. Gray is a sneaky add this week.

Top Running Back Waiver Wire Targets

Pierre Strong, New England Patriots 4-7% FAAB

Rhamondre Stevenson suffered a leg injury on Monday night against the Cardinals and Damien Harris has missed the last few games. Pierre Strong is the next man up! We know the Patriots are often reluctant to use rookie running backs but they may not have a choice. Fortunately, they have a pretty talented player in Strong who has been getting game action on special teams. In college Strong was impressive playing for South Dakota State. In his final season he totaled 1,686 rush yards, 150 receiving yards on 22 receptions and scored 18 total touchdowns. This included an impressive 7.0 YPC. Strong is also an athletic freak with a 4.37 40 yard dash. Strong could be a fantasy hero if he is given the opportunity.
