Quarterbacks to Stream – Week 15 NFL Fantasy Football

DFS Army’s Gthom goes over the quarterbacks to stream this week. The quarterbacks to stream on this list are normally available in 40-percent of leagues.

Follow Gthom on the cesspool they call twitter, @GarettThomas.

Mike White (NYJ) vs Detroit Lions

Available in 85% of ESPN Leagues

Mike White has been the answer for the Jets’ quarterback situation, so far. It’s a little scary to rely on White because he has been hobbled several times since getting this starting role. However, there are limited quarterbacks available this week and it leaves White as the best optimal play.

Traveling to Buffalo, White finished the day with 10.7 fantasy points in Week 14. His first two starts he finished with 24.8 and 19.5 fantasy points and we should see White get back into his groove against Detroit.

The Lions are playing well over their last six games, but they are still friendly to opposing quarterbacks. In their last three contests, the Lions defense has allowed 24.2-FPPG (30th) and 3.8 fantasy points above expectation (26th). On the season the Lions’ statistics are essentially the same: 24-FPPG (32nd) and 5.5 fantasy points above expectation (32nd) allowed to quarterbacks.

Quarterbacks against Detroit have been great for fantasy. White is the clear and best streaming option for Week 15.

Daniel Jones (NYG) @ Washington Commanders

Available in 45% of ESPN Leagues

Since Week 10, Daniel Jones has been the 12th best quarterback in fantasy points per game with 19.2. A good portion of this score is from Jones’ legs, as he averages 37 rushing yards per game; that’s nearly an extra passing touchdown, in fantasy scoring, per week.

His match-up against Washington is not to be desired. In the last four games, the Commanders have limited opposing quarterbacks to 16.6-FPPG and finished with a -1.6 fantasy points above expectation to the position. Additionally, this being a divisional game doesn’t tempt me to bet the over for the game total.

Facing Washington isn’t ideal but with bad streaming options all around, Jones stands out as one to target only if Mike White (NYJ) is unavailable.

Andy Dalton (NO) vs Atlanta Falcons

Available in 91% of ESPN Leagues

OooWeeee, when Dalton makes the article you know its either a smash matchup or we are desperate for plays. Go with the latter more than the former.

Dalton has been rough for anyone who tried to stream him in 2022. Outside of big weeks in Week 7 and 8, Dalton has been abysmal for fantasy. Some of it is because Dalton is in his twilight years; some of it is because the Saints love to enable touchdown vulture extraordinaire, Taysom Hill, to take a big chunk of red zone snaps at quarterback. I wish I could paint a better picture but the streaming options for Week 15 are gross.

The Falcons defense has had a tail of two halves against quarterbacks. In the first half of the season, they were the 31st worst defense against opposing quarterbacks and allowed 22.3-FPPG; since Week 8, Atlanta has fixed some things and been stingy to quarterbacks, allowing 14.3 fantasy points to the position (5th best). The good thing is Atlanta is operating on the road and they are starting a rookie quarterback for his first start ever. Dalton will likely need a turnover, or two, from his defense in order to get some short fields and setup easy scoring drives.

Dalton is an emergency option compared to the other two quarterbacks mentioned on this list. Start Mike White (NYJ) or Daniel Jones (NYG) rather than Dalton, if available.

Sleeper Quarterbacks to Stream
