Quarterbacks to Stream – Week 14 NFL Fantasy Football

DFS Army’s Gthom goes over the quarterbacks to stream this week. The quarterbacks to stream on this list are normally available in 40-percent of leagues.

Jared Goff (DET) vs Minnesota Vikings

Available in 70% of ESPN Leagues

Goff has finished as a top-8 quarterback three times in 2022, all have taken place at home. Most recently it happened last week against Jacksonville

Playing the Vikings in Detroit has its benefits to say the least, but divisional games can be challenging for players and teams. Minnesota’s defense has not played well against opposing quarterback lately either.

The Vikings have allowed opposing quarterbacks to finish with 4.6 fantasy points above expectation (fourth-worst) over the last four games. During this four-game run, Minnesota is generously allowing quarterbacks 21.6-FPPG (27th).

Games tend to shootout with the Lions in general, too. This helps Goff’s fantasy narrative. In their last four games, the Lions game totals (which is both teams score added together) have been 54, 53, 49 and 61. Thats a lot of points to chase.

Goff is a great super-flex QB2 and a solid, single-QB play as well. Be sure to always start your studs over Goff as he can always dud.

Tyler Huntley (BAL) vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Available in 99% of ESPN Leagues

Lamar Jackson will likely miss Week 14 and we know Huntley will be a common streaming prospect for managers too.

Huntley will not set the world on fire more than likely, but he has fire power. Examining his time as a fill-in starter in 2021, Huntley finished as the QB14 overall on a FPPG basis during weeks 14-18. He had fantasy finishes of 19, 1, 21 and 33 as the starter. While that shows his volatility, his rushing usage is juicy. In those four games he ran for 244 yards or 61 rushing yards per game.

Baltimore is facing a Steelers defense that has played well over their last four games against fantasy quarterbacks. In the aforementioned timeframe, they have held opposing quarterbacks to 15.1 FPPG, tenth best. Huntley can provide value in this spot despite a tough divisional match-up. Don’t expect a ceiling performance however.

Huntley is a solid super-flex QB2 and can be used for single-QB leagues where there is a need.

Mike White (NYJ) vs Buffalo Bills

Available in 87% of ESPN Leagues

In his two starts for 2022, Mike White has finished as the overall QB6 and QB7, respectively. In both contests he threw for 300+ yards and scored a touchdown.

White was extremely inefficient in Week 13 against the Vikings, so he carries volatility. The biggest draw to White is the skill players that surround him, highlighted by rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson.

The issue with White this week is the Bills, a defense that generates fear in opposing fantasy stakeholders. However, the Bills are finding chinks in their armor of late. They are battling the injury bug which has seen some of their best playmakers miss extended time. As a result, in their last four games Buffalo has allowed 18.4-FPPG (23rd) to the quarterback position. Buffalo has given up 3.2 fantasy points above expectation during that same time, which is fifth-worst in the league.

While Buffalo has excelled against quarterbacks this season, of-late they are giving opposing field generals room to breathe. White is a decent super-flex option and a “it could be worse” streaming option for single-QB leagues.
