Waiver Wire Adds Drops for Week 12 NFL Season Long Fantasy Football | DFS Army

Every week we will be breaking down the top waiver wire adds for your season long fantasy football leagues. This article will highlight some of the key players to target in week 12 and the recommended Free Agent Auction Budget (FAAB) you should spend. Check out the video to get a more detailed breakdown and a deeper list of players.

Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Targets

Treylon Burks, Tennessee Titans 12-15% FAAB

Treylon Burks had the most productive day of his young career this week. Burks had one more target than veteran teammate Robert Woods and was more efficient tallying 15.86 yards/ reception. It remains slightly concerning that Burks is only playing half of Tennessee’s snaps. We would expect that usage to increase as Burks gains trust while also proving he can remain healthy. Burks could be the Titan’s secret weapon as they make a push for the playoffs as he was a dynamic, versatile player in college. More importantly for the Titans, Burks will be an important part in a redemption story after the early playoff exit last year. Improving his usage and confidence will be important for Burks and our fantasy teams.

Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions 7-10-% FAAB

The wait is over. Jameson Williams has been activated from IR and will begin practicing with the Lions this week. Williams was a phenomenal draft prospect that could of been the top wide receiver in the class had it not been for the ACL tear in the National Championship game last season. He has elite 4.30 speed and gained an impressive 9.3 yards after catch per reception, per PFF. Beware that there will be a learning curve as Williams acclimates to the NFL game. Williams is a player worth prioritizing but understand you may have to hold him on the bench for a few weeks. The upside is massive though and is worth a waiver bid.

Running Back Waiver Wire Targets

Latavius Murray, Denver Broncos 10-15% FAAB

Latavius Murray is the beneficiary of being the only show in town. Chase Edmonds is dealing with a high ankle sprain and Melvin Gordon was released on Monday. Since signing with the Broncos in week 4, Murray has been a reliable flex option showing his upside last week when presented with the volume. Though not an elite pass catcher, Murray has the ability to participate in the passing game and can bring in 2-3 receptions per game adding to his weekly floor. At this stage of the season, it’s rare to have a team’s lead RB available. Murray is worth bidding on even if you are comfortable at running back to secure bench depth.
