Quarterbacks to Stream – Week 13 NFL Fantasy Football

DFS Army’s Gthom goes over the quarterbacks to stream this week. The quarterbacks to stream on this list are normally available in 40-percent of leagues.

Follow Gthom on the cesspool they call twitter, @GarettThomas.

Trevor Lawrence (JAC) @ Detroit Lions

Available in 41% of ESPN Leagues

Lawrence has been looking more and more like the prospect we expected out of Clemson. While he remains far away from his career expectations, this could be the start of a turning point. Since Week 9, Lawrence has finished as the quarterback 12, eight and five, respectively. He’s averaged 20.87-FPPG since Week 9.

The former Heisman winner gets a juicy match-up too, the Detroit Lions. It has been an easy road for quarterbacks when facing the Lions. Over their last three games Detroit has allowed 32.6-FPPG. In addition, the Lions have allowed 11.3 fantasy points above expectation in their last three contests. Both metrics are league worse.

Lawrence is a great fantasy player in all formats this week. Be sure to start your stud quarterbacks over Lawrence, but have confidence with Lawrence over someone like Aaron Rodgers (GB).

Derek Carr (LV) vs Los Angeles Chargers

Available in 36% of ESPN Leagues

Carr’s last four games have been solid for streaming consideration: 18.4, 17.9, 20.3 and 22.8 fantasy points, respectively. The Chargers allow an average of 23.2 fantasy points to the position and they are the fourth easiest defense against quarterbacks over the last three weeks.

In Week 1 against the Chargers, Carr finished with 16.8 fantasy points and that was one the road. Expect a slightly better outcome from Carr at home in Week 13, but don’t bank on a ceiling performance. The Raiders’ quarterback is usable in single-QB leagues and he would be a solid QB2 in super-flex leagues.

Mike White (NYJ) @ Minnesota Vikings

Available in 97% of ESPN Leagues

Welcome back Mike White! It was a lot of fun seeing his 24.8 fantasy point outing in his first start since Week 10 of last season. The Vikings will be a better opponent than last week’s Chicago Bears. The Vikings still allow favorable fantasy environments for quarterbacks.

Over their last five games the Vikings have allowed an average of 3.9 fantasy points above expectation to opposing quarterbacks. Minnesota has allowed 21.6-FPPG per contest during that time which is 28th most in the NFL.

There is bust potential in White, and being on the road does not help. That should not move you off White however, the Jets’ new quarterback has shown he can be successful. In White’s five-game sample size across two seasons it paints a “boom-bust” picture; all-or-nothing, in other words. His comp would be 2022 Jared Goff in this streaming scenario.

White should be successful because of the weapons around him. His floor should be much higher than his previous games have shown in fantasy. Wide receiver Garrett Wilson looks more than advertised. Corey Davis is getting healthy and he can always pop for a big game. And Elijah Moore has talent and success, despite his lack of usage.

Fun and solid QB2 in super flex leagues. White is worth gambling on in single-QB leagues but only if needed. He carries more risk in the single-QB format.

Sleeper Quarterbacks to Stream:

  • Deshaun Watson (CLE) @ Houston Texans
  • Jimmy Garoppolo (SF) vs Miami Dolphins
