Quarterbacks to Stream – Week 11 NFL Fantasy Football

DFS Army’s Gthom goes over the quarterbacks to stream this week. The quarterbacks to stream on this list are normally available in 40-percent of leagues.

Follow Gthom on the cesspool they call twitter, @GarettThomas.

Daniel Jones (NYG) vs Detroit Lions

Available in 41% of ESPN Leagues

Currently the Lions are the easiest fantasy match up for opposing quarterbacks. They allow 24.6-FPPG to the position on the season and 6.9 fantasy points above expectation, both metrics are worst in the NFL. They also allow the second most rushing yards to quarterbacks with 372 yards, something important for a quarterback like Daniel Jones.

Over his last three games Daniel Jones has been a top-10 quarterback in points per game with 18.7 fantasy points. His average rushing yards per game is 43 yards, or 4.3 fantasy points. Additionally, he has been a top-8 quarterback in two instances in 2022.

Jones should be able to help managers with their streaming needs in Week 11. However, this game may become a Saquon Barkley dominated game given how bad Detroit’s run-defense has been.

Marcus Mariota (ATL) vs Chicago Bears

Available in 62% of ESPN Leagues

Mariota has been an interesting fantasy puzzle to solve this season. The difficulty of Mariota is his wide range of volatility. Picking the right week to start him has been crucial and Week 11 looks to be one of the “right weeks” to play Mariota.

In the Bears’ last three games they have allowed an average of 21.8-FPPG and five fantasy points above expectation to opposing quarterbacks. Additionally, the game totals for the last three Bears’ games have AVERAGED 68.67 points. In other words the Bears’ defense cannot stop anyone while simultaneously being unstoppable on offense. This is a perfect situation for a dual-threat quarterback like Marcus Mariota: score (which leads to fantasy points) or be left behind.

The game environment combined with the dual threat ability of Mariota really is intriguing. The Falcons quarterback can always dud, but this seems as safe a week to play Mariota as any.

Jimmy Garoppolo (SF) @ Arizona Cardinals

Available in 53% of ESPN Leagues

Always a gross feeling to rely on Garoppolo but he has been extremely consistent of late. He scored 15.9 fantasy points in Week 10, his second lowest amount on the season, and is averaging 17.58-FPPG for the year.

The Cardinals allow an average of 17.9-FPPG to opposing quarterbacks in the last eight weeks. In Arizona’s last three games they have allowed fantasy quarterbacks to finish with 2.1 fantasy points higher than expectation, on average. None of this projects Garoppolo to go-off, but it does show that he can have success.

The 49ers will always be a run-first team with head coach Kyle Shanahan. When they control the game, Garoppolo normally does worse for fantasy because of less opportunities. This is why Garoppolo rarely has a “boom” game. Keep this in mind if you are streaming Garoppolo in Week 11.
