Defenses to Stream – Week 11 NFL Fantasy Football

DFS Army’s Gthom goes over the defenses to stream this week. The defenses to stream listed below are normally found in at least 40-percent of leagues (prior to waivers).

We found one good play last week in the G-Men who scored nine fantasy points. Overall, it was a mixed-bag for week 10 picks. The article finished with a D/ST scoring average of five fantasy points.

Ravens D/ST vs Carolina Panthers

Available in 46% of Sleeper Leagues

The top defense to stream is the Ravens. They get a Panthers team led, once again, by Baker Mayfield. The NFL community has seen Mayfield’s struggles over the past couple of years, and the Ravens are no strangers to Mayfield either. Baker may not finish this one and if he cannot, it would be Sam Darnold as the man off the bench. Darnold has potential to be worse than Mayfield.

The Ravens force the sixth most turnovers in the league coming out of their BYE-week. They also have (inefficient) success at sacking QBs with 27 on the year. In their last three games Baltimore’s D/ST has been a top-eight defense averaging 9-FPPG.

This has blowout potential in the making.

Patriots D/ST vs New York Jets

Available in 43% of Sleeper Leagues

When the Jets last faced the Patriots in Week 8, New England’s D/ST scored nine fantasy points and finished as the eighth-best overall D/ST. The Patriots’ fantasy finish was anchored by Jets’ quarterback, Zach Wilson, throwing three interceptions. Sitting just one-game behind the Jets, the Patriots will be ready to fly around in Week 10.

In their last three games no one has had more success than the Patriots D/ST, leading D/ST’s in FPPG during that stretch with 13.3 fantasy points. The Patriots are elite when it comes to getting after the quarterback. While they are second in the NFL at recording sacks (32) they also lead the league in pressure-rate at 29.7-percent. This defense is also top-4 in opponent turnovers with 17.

New England is one of the best fantasy floors you can find in a D/ST for Week 11, and they have a nice opportunity to accomplish a ceiling game as well.

Bengals D/ST vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Available in 79% of Sleeper Leagues

Coming out of the BYE-week this defense is missing key pieces from their team. Despite their injuries, the Bengals face one of the easiest foes for opposing D/ST’s. In their last five games the Steelers have allowed an average of 9-FPPG to D/ST’s; this is well in line with their season average of 9.1-FPPG allowed to the position.

Kenny Pickett has been the Steelers’ quarterback for six games. In those opportunities he has turned the ball over nine times: eight interceptions and one fumble lost. Continue targeting rookie quarterbacks and it typically leads to good things for fantasy D/ST’s.

Sleeper Defenses to Stream:

  • Broncos D/ST vs Las Vegas Raiders
  • Jets D/ST @ New England Patriots
  • Titans D/ST @ Green Bay Packers
