My Take on a Consistent MLB DFS Process – Looking at Pitchers
I always start an MLB slate by looking at pitching, not only do you get a grasp on who the pitchers are that you want to target, but gives you a holistic look at the slate as well. Breaking down pitching also gives you an idea of what offenses are in good spots against bad/vulnerable pitchers. I start my research by going straight to the MLB Carnage Report this is where we can analyze all the pitchers on the slate in a compact, yet detailed manner. For the postseason, I have created a new sheet under our Cheat Sheets. I look into the Pitch Profile match-ups for each game, a definite MUST READ!

Rundown:
This game has opened with a total of 7. The Yankees absolutely need to wake up but the question is, can they figure out how to hit Javier? He has dominated this roster, holding them to a 4 for 48 mark at the plate. Cole needs to step up and be THAT guy again for them, against a team that is outslugging the powerful Yankee lineup.

Phillies – Bailey Falter
Rundown:
This game has opened with a total of 8. Falter is expected to go 3 innings and while I hate that, I also could see him going 4 if all things are going well. I think there is a 0% chance he qualifies for the win. Clevinger has NOT looked great and while he has had success against the PHI roster, I don’t think he performs overly well today. Bell has crushed Falter in previous meetings while Schwarber is swinging with a ton of confidence.
