1. Russell Gage $4,700 – The Bucs are without Chris Godwin (injury) and Mike Evans (suspension) and Julio Jones is a GTD after missing last week. Russell Gage could be the #1 WR for Tom Brady this week if Jones can’t go and if that is the case then he will be a great DraftKings play in all formats and one of the top Fpts/$ plays on the slate. He does have a Q tag that we will have to keep an eye on, but if Gage is the top guy then load up at this price tag.

 

2. Zay Jones $4,000 – Zay Jones is about as cheap as I am looking to go at WR this week and at $4k he is in play in all formats as a cheap punt play. He did get out-snapped by Marvin Jones Jr. last week but he still has been on the field for over 75% of offensive plays and the Jaguars passed 12 fewer times than they did in week 1 because they were in control of the game from the start. They are 7-point road dogs this week so I would expect them to have to pass more and Zay should get more involved if that is the case.

 

3. T.J. Hockenson $4,200 – This is one of the best games of the week with a 52.5 point total and the Lions games have put up 136 total points in these first two weeks. They have a bad defense and a good offense and that works great for fantasy and leads to a lot of high-scoring shootouts. Hockenson has seen 7 targets in both games so far and he has the 2nd highest target share (19.7%) behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. We have Hockenson has the top projected value at TE this week and I would expect another shootout against the Vikings.

 

4. Tyler Higbee $4,500 – Tyler Higbee has had 20 targets in the first two weeks and he has been on the field for 96% of snaps. The Rams have the 6th highest team total (26) on the slate this week and Higbee is only $4.5k. I like him in all formats at that price and we have him projected as the 2nd best Fpts/$ play at the position behind Hockenson.

 

5. Kyle Pitts $4,800 – The projections don’t back this one up as much but I do like Kyle Pitts this week and he is $900 cheaper than he was in week 1. Pitts was the clear #3 overall TE in fantasy coming into the season, and he has put up two duds so people are off him now. That is when I like to hop on these guys and Pitts is 2nd on the team in targets behind Drake London whose 32.2% target share should regress and lead to more looks Pitts’ way. The Falcons are 0-2 on the season and they are getting a lot of heat for not getting Pitts the ball. I like him to bounce back this week and we currently have him projected for under 5% ownership.
