1.04 – Justin Jefferson (WR, MIN)

The biggest thing for me is that the top-3 elite RBs were off the board. Any of these considered players would be elite (C. Kupp or D. Cook), but Jefferson has the highest ceiling out of these three. He’s the youngest of this group, has a better injury history, a new pass-first system that should work in his favor and a healthy QB who can sling it.

2.09 – Leonard Fournette (RB, TB)

Fat and useless is how many fantasy analysts view Lenny Fournette. For me this pick was easy and I did not consider anyone else in this spot. Sure Rachaad White will get passing work, but so did other backs last season. That does not mean Lenny is out as the main back for this high powered offense.

David Kluge sums it up nicely for me about Lenny.

3.04 – Michael Pittman (WR, IND)

In a PPR league I am stacking stud WRs where I can. I want to start 3 WRs every single week as that is most optimal in full PPR. Pittman has a chance to burst into the top-5 receivers with a new quarterback in town. With pitiful Carson Wentz under center in 2021, Pittman was WR17 and averaged 14-FPPG. Stock up for Pittman with Matt Ryan in town.

4.09 – Allen Robinson (WR, LAR)

Again, I want to start 3 WRs every week. The three receivers I’ve secured easily project as every week starters. Arob is going to feast in this offense. When Robert Woods was the WR2 in this system last season he was the WR11 overall; and when it became Odell Beckham Jr, he finished his time with the Rams as the WR21 during his stretch of games. Robinson isn’t done and he is going to impress fantasy stakeholders.

05.04 – AJ Dillon (RB, GB)

Not only do I get upside because of his role at ADP-cost, but I also get the upside of him becoming a feature back if Aaron Jones were to get hurt. Green Bay also does not have DeVante Adams who was the red zone offense last season. That is something Dillon is perfect for, goal line carries. Like head coach Matt LaFluer said, this committee is “1A, 1B,” and I just got the better ADP-value of this duo.

6.09 – Jalen Hurts (QB, PHI)

Won’t lie, this was a mock draft auto pick. I tried going Elijah Moore here but no worries because Hurts slipped well past his ADP at this pick. I have little worry about Hurts finishing around this spot. For him to finish as the QB1 overall, which is in the cards for him, he will need to be a better passer in the pocket. A.J. Brown is a hell of a weapon to add for this passing game, there’s no more excuses for Hurts

7.04 – Rashaad Penny (RB, SEA)

This pick was brought to you by Ken Walker’s injury. With surgery being completed on Walker, this team will be very careful rolling out Walker in the first half of the season. That is all the time we need from Penny. By then, I imagine I will have another back to replace him from the waiver-wire. Penny is not my sexiest pick but he will have volume to start the season. I just pray he can stay healthy for once.

8.09 – T.J. Hockenson (TE, DET)

With an ADP of 65, I had to pull the trigger on Hockenson at pick 93. Even after missing a lot of time last season, Hock had a 21.1-percent target share and scored 30.2-percent of his team’s receiving touchdowns. In weeks 1 – 13, when he was healthy, Hockenson was the TE3 overall. Of course health is the biggest determining factor with this pick. There is huge upside at this spot for Hock.

9.04 – DeAndre Hopkins (WR, ARI)

I really don’t recommend holding players unless there is an IR-eligible spot that can hold suspended players. I took the risk because I saw several receivers I am willing to take a shot on in the next rounds who can contribute right away to supplement drafting/holding Hopkins. If this pick works out, my team could be unstoppable in the playoffs.

10.09 – Jarvis Landry (WR, NO)

He’s gotten up there in age but Landry may have to step up early in the season if Michael Thomas’s hamstring injury does not clear up. If I don’t like his role in weeks 1-2 I can easily move on from him as well.

11.04 – Isiah Pacheco (RB, KC)

12.09 – Tyler Allgeier (RB, ATL)

13.04 – Isaiah McKenzie (WR, BUF)

These three are all sleeper/hype picks. I reached for Pacheco here because why not? Most of these picks get cut from your team anyway and the camp buzz, coupled with CEH being a bust, puts him play. I continued adding RB depth with the youthful upside of Allgeier. Admittedly I don’t expect much from him in the first 6 weeks except a slow increase of snap counts. McKenzie was my last shot and I feel he has the most legitimate chance of this group. The slot receiver role has been valuable for the Bills in PPR formats. All three of these guys can be cut after Week 1 should their roles be bad and elite waiver pickups arise.

14.09 – Tyler Bass (K, BUF)

15.04 – Kansas City D/ST
