Already dominating the world of golf, Paige Spiranac may have just broke the internet. On June 16th, Maxim published their annual ‘hot 100’ and Spiranac is the cover star of 2022’s edition.

For those living a bland and dull life, you may wonder: who is Paige Spiranac? The easy answer would be simply taking a look at her Instagram page.
Spiranac is a social media personality in the world of golf, originally starting out as a player. Before launching her online brand, Spiranac hit the links for the University of Arizona and San Diego State University where she won all-conference honors and led the Aztecs to their first ever Mountain West Conference Championship.

Following her amateur career, Spiranac won the 100th Colorado Women’s Golf Association Match Play Championship. The win actually compelled Total Frat Move, a then-popular entertainment and social commentary website, to publish a “love letter” about the golfer. Within hours, Spiranac’s instagram followers flooded in.
Spiranac leveraged her new-found fame, and the endorsements that followed, to launch a self-funded pro career. She first jumped on the Cactus Tour, a professional golf tour for women that’s an alternate option to the LPGA and The Symetra Tour. Spiranac was able to finish first in one event during her stint.
