How did the guys of Dude Perfect (amazing sports trick-shot artists on YouTube) get invited to one of the most private golf clubs in the world, Augusta National? The home of The Masters is notorious for exclusion, but that might be changing…

Examine, for a minute, what you probably thought of The Masters and Augusta National GC. Tradition, exclusion, perfect condition, the kind of place without a single hair (of grass) out of place. The kind of place that just wouldn’t allow the craziness and frivolity of a psuedo-fraternity party to break out, much less encourage it.
Now, think about what you know of Dude Perfect, an incredibly popular online band of brothers willing to turn any conventional sport on its ear for views, clicks, and entertainment.
There’s no way in H-E-double hockey sticks these two would ever come together, is there? Hit the pause button, my friends, because it just happened! Yes, Dude Perfect met The Masters, and they included a polarizing PGA lightning rod of its own….Bryson DeChambeau.
All Sports Golf Battle at AUGUSTA NATIONAL?! ⛳️🤯🎾🥏🎱 (Yes…for real.) Watch us take on the iconic Amen Corner with @b_dechambeau! HUGE thanks to @TheMasters for the opportunity of a lifetime!https://t.co/OCk3YrYPNN pic.twitter.com/ounsfLlFKO

On the surface, putting these famous class clowns on the world’s most private club seems crazy. But, peel back the onion a touch and things do make some sense.
Dude Perfect has over 57 million subscribers on YouTube, most of whom probably don’t play a lot of golf. And, their “all sports challenge” videos can bring in hundreds of thousands of views. In fact, this very video was released just last week and has already eclipsed 4.6 million views making it the #6 trending video on all of YouTube right now. Trending on social media becomes instant marketing gold for The Masters as they try to open up their reputation a bit in 2022 and branch out.
“This partnership between Dude Perfect and The Masters shows their commitment to being more open and welcoming, and this video was a testament to that and our collaborative effort to grow the game of golf for the younger generation,” Dude Perfect Chief Brand Officer Chad Coleman said via email. “We’re thrilled with how the video came out and love seeing all the positive reactions!”

Dude Perfect All Sports Challenge at Augusta National and The Masters
If you’ve never seen an “all sports challenge video,” they are hilarious! Instead of golf clubs, the guys use everything else from hockey sticks to frisbees as they play a few holes on a traditional golf course. However, once the “club” is used for a shot, it is then removed from play forcing a little strategy, and a whole lot of fun.
Amen Corner is composed of holes 11, 12, and 13 at Augusta. A par 4, par 3, and par 5 with water and sand that challenges normal golf, let alone soccer balls and billiards cues.
Enter Bryson DeChambeau…
Most casual fans now know Bryson DeChambeau as the longest hitter on tour. He can also be a bit of a polarizing personality, though, when it comes to his lack of filtered comments and antics. Bryson has even taken intense heat for his lack of etiquette in yelling “fore!” on his wayward shots.
Horrendous. Should be fined just like slow play. Penalty shots and, if needed, DQ. https://t.co/RULdPGrwaa

But, Bryson knows his image very well. He even quips in the Dude Perfect video below, “I yelled fore….I’ve been working on that,” at the 1:33 mark injecting a sarcastic bit of humor showing his more human side.
DeChambeau joins the Dude Perfect clan as he tries his hand, or foot, at their unique way of tackling a golf course. Bryson started off the match with a tennis racket tee shot, and almost holed a long, downhill putt with a croquet mallet before it unluckily lipped out at the last second. How did he finish? Find out below…
