Phil Mickelson might have made some controversial remarks recently about joining a new professional golf league in Saudi Arabia, but most probably didn’t expect him to lose the number of sponsors he did like long-time supporters KPMG and Callaway. Sometimes, controversy backfires. But, it almost always finds the spotlight.
Not everyone cared about the Phil Mickelson news, though, notably Paige Spirinac. Paige was focused on Tiger Woods. She tweeted exactly what was on her mind recently: “Who cares about Phil. I need to know if Tiger is playing the masters,” she said on Twitter earlier this week.
This tweet inspired one fan to ask if she would ever hit the ceremonial first tee shot if asked. To which Spirinac replied: “I’m ready.” And, included this pic in a replica of the coveted green jacket.

Men around the country immediately started coveting more than the green jacket! No wonder she has such influence. She definitely knows how to work it.
As for Tiger Woods, she’s not the only one hoping he makes a comeback soon. Many are holding out hope he plays at Augusta this year (including our DFS PGA team), but he is running out of time.
