Week 9 NFL WR-CB Match-up Breakdown:
Get your NFL DFS research rolling with this week’s match-up breakdown. We will take a look at a few guys that I think are in a great spot based on the match-ups along with a few guys that I might look to go underweight on.

2 Guys in great NFL Match-ups being overlooked (ownership % wise):
Marquise Brown (BAL) vs Bashaud Breeland: This spot has a big twist as MIN lines CB’s up on sides. Brown is actually running his most routes on the outside, against Breeland. A lot of the match-up charts around the industry have him defaulted to the slot because he runs the most slot routes for BAL. If you have read this article each week, you know how much I love attacking Breeland. I know that we have Brown projected at 15.2% on DK, which I think is still too low but he’s mainly here because we have him at 5.9% on FD. Breeland is allowing 0.47 fantasy points per route run against him this season.
Emmanuel Sanders (BUF) vs Tyson Campbell: What we know is that the Bills offense is in a great spot and should carry ownership. We project Sanders at just 6% on DK and 5.4% on FD, which is well below Diggs. Campbell is allowing an extreme 0.50 fantasy points per route against him and he’s being targeted on 26% of his defensive snaps so far this season.
2 Guys who we might be overlooking the match-up on:
Tee Higgins (CIN) vs Greg Newsome II: Higgins is popping a bit in projections and while I can understand it, I think we might be overvaluing recent performances. Newsome is being targeted on just 16% of his coverages while allowing a mediocre 0.28 fantasy points per route run. We have Higgins projected at 14.9% on DK and 13% on FD this weekend.
Mike Williams (LAC) vs Darius Slay: This one is painful for me to write about. I am a big Williams fan but he’s been struggling of late. He is projected to be shadowed by Slay. A ton of Williams’ production comes when he towers over the DB but he is just 3 inches taller than Slay is. Slay has been targeted on just 16% of his coverages and has allowed just 0.20 fantasy points per route. We currently project Williams at 4.8% on DK (pretty low) and 7.7% on FD.
