DraftKings NFL Cash Games: Smash or Pass DFS Fantasy Football Week 10

What’s up guys it is your boy @LowOwnedWR here to break down the chalkiest NFL plays at each position for DK and see if they are worth everything you are paying for them. Cash games are all about finding value and squeezing every last drop out of the salary you are using. Cash is also about understanding what you are building for, our goal here is to be better than 50% of the field minimum, we are not trying to win GPPs here.

When that is understood it makes building your LU easier because you begin to understand that you are trying to make sure your DFS build is based around value and pricing and not upside and stacks, you are going to let other players make the mistake of being cute and severely crippling their LU and over the course of the season you are going to be up $$$ from letting others hurt themselves and putting yourself in positions to succeed. Having good projections is a BIG boost as well.

QBs:

Dak Prescott ($6900): The Cowboys are implied to most points on the slate against the Falcons and Dak is the best projecting QB from a value standpoint. Dak is to me, a no-brainer to be your cash QB this week. SMASH

Josh Allen ($7900): With Dak being $1000 less than him, even with the value that will easily allow you to get to him, there is just no point to spend the extra money and leave points on the board. PASS

Justin Herbert ($7300): Herbert has a good matchup and is also projecting well at his price but I am just going to reiterate the fact that Dak is going to be uber chalk and fading him and leaving points on the board is just not what I am looking to do this week. PASS

Pivots: None

RBs:

D’Ernest Johnson ($4700): Johnson is projecting for over 4x which is a once in a season type of value, he is going to be 80%+ owned in cash this week and there is no reason not to play this man for what he allows your build to do this week. SMASH

Mark Ingram ($4500): He and Johnson should both be auto-locked in as they are both basically min price and are projecting like $6000 players, what they allow your build to do is too good to gloss over. It is a very boring week in cash with these two being auto-locked but you have to play what the slate gives you. SMASH

Najee Harris ($7900): If the salary of the previous two we mentioned allows you to have the salary for Najee in your flex I can live with it as he is projecting a decent bit better than the expensive WRs, but he has to be your flex back, you are not playing him over Johnson and Ingram and that is the end of the story. SMASH

Pivots: None

WRs:

Devante Adams ($7900): Aaron Rodgers looks to be in line to return today and Adams was producing at well over $8000 with him so for him only being $7900 on this slate I am loving jamming him in this week and it is not hard to do with what Johnson and Ingram open up. SMASH

Keenan Allen ($7000): The Vikings’ secondary is in simple terms, not good. Allen has double-digit targets the last two weeks and is finally playing to the standard that we all knew he was capable of in this new Chargers offense. At only $7000, it is not hard to get up to this week and I will happily be jamming the stud WRs this week. SMASH

Diontae Johnson ($6800): I know they are playing the Lions but I have no interest in a chalk Steelers WR. Ben is one of if not the worst QB in the league and the Steelers historically have played down to their competition over Tomlin. You’ll have the money to get him easily but I am taking a stand here and exing out Diontae. PASS

Pivots: Jakobi Myers at only $4800 with the target share he gets is well worth a stab and loading him in along with the value backs you literally can do anything you want. Washington’s secondary is terrible and if Godwin doesn’t go that is a huge boost to Mike EvansCole Beasley is only $5200 and gets to face the lowly Jets this week, Cole gets a tremendous amount of targets and his price does not reflect that nor the ceiling of the Bills offense. Amari Cooper at only $6200 with the Cowboys being implied the most points on the slate is still very much value to me.

TEs:

Kyle Pitts ($5800): With no Ridley, Pitts gets a huge boost, and getting up to him this week isn’t hard. If you have the salary I am very high on getting Pitts into your LU if you take some of the cheaper WR options. SMASH

Dan Arnold ($3500): Arnold is the 2nd highest projected TE from a fantasy points per dollar stand point and Lawrence has shown that he is willing to feed this man with targets. If you are paying down at TE he is a top 2 option in that category. SMASH

Pat Friermuth ($3900): Same thing as Diontae Johnson. With good options in the same range, I am not looking to load up on the Steelers offense this week and Ben is one of the worst QBs in the league. PASS

Pivots: Jared Cook is only $3200 and the best projected TE from a fantasy points per dollar standpoint. He is my favorite TE for cash this week.

Defense:

Titans ($2600): The second best defense from FPP$ and is the cheapest one that is ranked that high. They should be the highest-owned defense in cash this week. SMASH

Cardinals ($3700): If I am paying up for a defense this week I would rather blow the extra $300 and go up to the Bills who get to play Mike White and the Jets this week. PASS

Panthers ($2400): I worry about the offenses ability to stay on the field with them running out either Walker or Newton who has had no time with the playbook, I think the Cardinals come out and dunk on them here. PASS

Pivots: You have the ability to get up to the Bills if you do not just jam the highest priced WRs this week and if you can play them, I love them against Mike White and the Jets this week.
