Circuit of the Americas
For the first time ever NASCAR will hold events at Circuit of the Americas. All three of the top series will debut there this weekend. COTA is a beautiful 3.426 mile road course that has hosted nearly every major auto racing series on the planet. Because this is these are the first events ever at this track we will have to rely heavily on other road course race results. I do see some similarities between Watkins Glen and Cota which is why I will use that track history the most with lineup building. One important thing to note is that Chase Elliott, Martin Truex, and Brad Keselowksi did the Goodyear tire test here earlier this year. That means the best road racers in the series have a large number of laps on the track for experience. Rain is in the forecast all weekend which means we may end up seeing some rain tires being utilized and wet weather racing. This will likely throw everything for a loop. All three series will qualify hours before they race. This means a quick turnaround for NASCAR content which the DFS Army will be there to deliver for you.

NASCAR DFS Outlook
I am not going to waste a ton of your time trying to pretend like we have any true idea of who will be good this weekend and I certainly will not do a separate section for each series to tell you the exact same thing three times. We have our favorites like Elliott, Truex, Cindric, Allmendinger, etc. but outside of that, we do not have any idea which teams and drivers will be good this week. We will have to rely heavily on practice speeds and qualifying results to help steer us in the right direction. Due to the ultra low number of laps, place differential and high finishing positions are everything. We do not really care about dominators or a dominator setting this week in the traditional sense. We will all be on the top dominator threats due to the fact they should be in contention to win and score the most points anyways. They simply will not have the ability to accumulate a ton of points and separate themselves from the rest of the field. If you are familiar with NASCAR on FanDuel then you will be familiar with how you should attack all three races on DK. We want as many top finishers as possible and any driver who can score a bunch of place differential points.
