Just two races left in this season and we are poised to finish strong! As always, the research is just getting started, so think about getting signed up and get exclusive access to our projection model, the domination station lineup optimizer, and most importantly, direct chat room access to some of the sharpest NASCAR minds in the industry. I will be on there all weekend updating everyone on my research.

Top Plays

Joey Logano – Joey is locked in to Homestead and exists soley to make his fellow playoff drivers’ life miserable. When we were here in June, Logano dominated the race early on his way to a 4th place finish. I expect Joey to find the lead at some point, and be very hard to pass from that point on.

Brad Keselowski – While Kes never found the lead here in June, he passed more cars than anyone in the field. He was lightening fast and with a first place starting spot, he should have no problem finding the lead this time around. He has finished in the top ten 9 times in a row, and a performance like that plus a handful of laps led is a recipe for a great score.

Jimmie Johnson – JJ didn’t get the finished he deserved here in June, but he showed some of the vintage JJ at Martinsville juice. This week he starts 27th, and should run in the top ten without much issue. I wouldn’t even be surprised to see him compete for a win to put a stamp on an amazing career.

Kyle Busch – KB finally got the win that eluded him in 2020, and I think the floodgates are open. He has a great chance to countinue the hot streak here, where he dominated races for nearly half a decade. His last to runs here were forgettable, but that should only serve to push his ownership down.

Value

Chris Buescher – Buescher is priced way too low here, and will likely be the chalk value play. He starts 28th, a position he has only finished worsed than one time in his Martinsville history. More commonly, he can be found running solidly in the top 15. This is one of his best tracks and should have a good shot at hitting the optimal.

Ryan Newman – Newman hasnt been great in 2020, but you cant fade him at Martinsville. His driving style is perfect for this type of racing, and he runs in the top ten here more often than not. He is incredibly consistent, and so long as the equipment holds – Newman should be a dynamite play.

Bubba Wallace – Martinsville is far and away Bubba’s best track, and proved that with an 11th place run here in June. He starts way back in 32nd, and should be in the top 15 before too long.

William Byron – Really stretching for value here, but I think you can gain some cheap leverage on Byron, who is quickly becoming a super solid short track racer.
