Week 2 is here and now we have a game of stats for every team. This is the best time of the year for me and there is a ton of money to be won in Daily Fantasy Football every single week. Somebody can win a million dollars each week on DraftKings and FanDuel and there are tons of other contests that can fit your personal DFS goals. However, if a player is a good play on one site, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are a good play on the other site. Salaries are everything in DFS and in this article I am going to point out the best deals on each week on each site and help you clip some coupons if you are looking to bargain shop around the DFS industry. Here are some of the best deals this week at each offensive position:
Quarterbacks
Aaron Rodgers on FanDuel $7,900
Last weekend, Rodgers crushed it scoring over 30 FD points. He had 4 TDs and 364 yards, and now on paper he has an even better matchup. If you want to roster Rodgers this week then I think FanDuel is the place to do it. DraftKings has him priced up as the 3rd most expensive QB on the slate. FanDuel has 8 other guys priced the same or above Rodgers so we are getting a nice discount over there that I don’t mind clipping that coupon at all. We also have maybe the best WR in football for him to throw to that makes an easy stack option week in and week out.

Kyler Murray on DraftKings $6,100
FanDuel has Murray priced as the 6th highest QB this week where DraftKings has him as the 11th highest priced. These discounts make it really easy for me to decide which site I want to play a specific player on and this week I think Murray is a great play on DraftKings. He has a new favorite target to throw to in Hopkins and we also have the legs on Murray that can get us extra points and maybe even a rushing touchdown. He has a solid matchup against the Washington Football Team and last week he put up great numbers in a tough spot. He put up 27.3 DK points against the 49ers and included in that was 13 rushes for 91 yards and a TD.

Running Backs
Jonathan Taylor on FanDuel $5,800
This one will likely be a core play for me this week. Marlon Mack tore his achilles last week making Taylor the workhorse back for this Colts team behind maybe the best offensive line in the league. He will have Hines to take some work away from him, but he will be the lead rusher now and last week he caught all 6 of his targets from Rivers. Rivers loves to dump down to his RBs so we should see targets every week and I think Taylor could have a big day against this Vikings team that just had 43 scored on them by the Packers. I like Taylor on both sites this week but FanDuel has him priced as the 19th highest RB on the slate compared to 14th on DraftKings, so we are getting a bit of a discount over on FanDuel. DFS ARMY has Taylor as the top Fpts/$ play at RB this week on FanDuel as well so hard not to like that.
Melvin Gordon on DraftKings $5,200
Phillip Lindsay was injured in the Broncos MNF game and if he is out this week then Gordon will be the clear lead back and he is a guy that can put up points on the ground or in the air. He had 15 carries and 3 catches on Monday and if Lindsay is out then I would expect him to get even more touches moving forward. He does have a very tough matchup this week going against the Steelers who just shut down Saquon Barkley but we are getting a big discount on him over on DraftKings this week. FanDuel has Gordon priced as the 12th highest RB on the main slate, where DraftKings has 20 other RBs priced the same or above him. We also get the full-point PPR over on DraftKings so that is another reason to like him more on that site.
Wide Receivers
Will Fuller on FanDuel $6,100
This week DraftKings has Fuller priced as the 14th WR on the slate and FanDuel has him priced as the 26th highest. He has a tough matchup against the Ravens, but he is the top WR on this team now and he had 8 receptions on 10 targets last week for 112 yards. Hard to not like his price over on FanDuel and he has slate breaking ability if he can break a long TD or two. I wouldn’t want to attack this Ravens D with Fuller on DraftKings this week but I don’t mind clipping the coupon and using him over on FanDuel to get some exposure.

Mike Williams on DraftKings $4,200
Williams is a beast. He took some huge hits last week on deep ball targets and every time I thought he was hurt, and he just popped right back up. It was impressive to see but he is going to get those deep balls every week and he saw 9 total targets last week. I personally think he has the talent and potential to be a top WR in the league, we just need Tyrod Taylor to be able to get the ball to him. However, FanDuel has him priced as the 31st WR on their site and we are getting a huge discount on DraftKings with him priced as the 57th highest WR. I think that makes him a great value play this week on DraftKings and he has big time upside as well.
Tight Ends
Dallas Goedert on FanDuel $5,500
The TE’s on this Eagles team are really the top receivers and they are both used enough to make Goedert in play almost every week even as the #2 TE on the team. DraftKings has Goedert priced up at the 8th highest salary spot where FanDuel has him as the 11th. I think he is in play on both sites, but I am more likely to use him over on FanDuel where we are getting a slight discount. He did get a TD last week and he could be a double-digit TD guy in that offense this season.
Jordan Reed on DraftKings $2,600
We will need Kittle to be out for this play to work for use, but if Kittle sits this week that will put Reed in play for me over on DraftKings. They have him as $100 more than the cheapest possible salary this week and with as banged up as that offense is, I would expect Reed to get a good number of looks running as the number 1 TE in this offense. That cheap salary really lets us pay up for who we want in other positions so that is nice and on FanDuel they have him $700 more than the minimum price so I am more likely to get my exposure on DraftKings.
