Full Court Press Breakdown for NBA DFS:

Mar 24, 2017; Memphis, TN, USA; Kentucky Wildcats guard De’Aaron Fox (0) looks to pass the ball against UCLA Bruins guard Lonzo Ball (2) in the second half during the semifinals of the South Regional of the 2017 NCAA Tournament at FedExForum. Mandatory Credit: Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

Washington Wizards @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 224

Vegas Spread: OKC -9.0

Here we get the early game, which is in DraftKing’s main slate, but is not on the FanDuel main slate. This should be one of the slower paced games as the Thunder really slow the ball down. Starting with the Wizards, you’re going to be looking mainly for GPP targets here as this game has a solid shot at getting out of hand. However, Thomas Bryant sees a nice matchup upgrade if Steven Adams misses this game as well. Troy Brown Jr. has also been crushing for the Wizards given extended playing time. Ish Smith and Shabazz Napier are both also in play here, I prefer the one that actually comes off the bench, and we can round it out with Rui Hachimura who has really been struggling offensively. From the Thunder, Chris Paul draws a great matchup here as well going against this inexperienced Wizards squad. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has looked lost offensively the last few games, but with Dennis Schroder still on paternity leave both he and Paul see a nice usage boost. If Adams misses again, it’s almost a must play for Nerlens Noel against this undersized Wizards front court. If you’re looking to go deeper, Luguentz Dort has seen increased playing time with Schroder out as well.

5-star play: Chris Paul

4-star play: Nerlens Noel (if Adams sits), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Thomas Bryant, Troy Brown Jr.

Deeper Value: Nerlens Noel, Luguentz Dort, Ish Smith

GPP Sleeper: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Ish Smith

Memphis Grizzlies @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 222

Vegas Spread: TOR -7.0

The Grizzlies have really struggled in the bubble, winning only one game so far against OKC and it doesn’t get any easier here against Toronto. For the Grizzlies, their offense is going to run through Ja Morant today, as Jonas Valanciunas will draw a tough matchup against Marc Gasol down low. Brandon Clarke slid back to the bench, but that’s a plus for him here as Toronto’s starting 5 is really tough defensively. For deeper GPP plays, Dillon Brooks has been playing huge minutes lately, and Grayson Allen has become relevant off the bench. They’re going to need both those guys to have big games if they want a shot here. For the Raptors its the usual suspect, Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam will carry the load offensively, and Fred VanVleet has been playing a ton of minutes and draws a solid matchup as well. Serge Ibaka is playing some solid minutes off the bench and has some block potential here as well as the Grizzlies like to attack the basket. OG Anunoby is also a deeper GPP play here, as he can fill up a stat line but also disappears at times (like he did last game).

5-star play: Kyle Lowry, Ja Morant

4-star play: Brandon Clarke, Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Jonas Valanciunas, Dillon Brooks

Deeper Value: Grayson Allen, OG Anunoby

GPP Sleeper: OG Anunoby, Dillon Brooks

San Antonio Spurs @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: 240

Vegas Spread: NOP -3.0

Starting out with the Spurs, DeMar Derozan is going to carry the load offensively for this Spurs team with Aldridge not returning for the bubble. This is also a must win game for the Spurs as the Suns and Grizzlies are also duking it out for that 8th spot. Derrick White and Dejounte Murray make out the rest of that guard rotation and both are in play as long as Bryn Forbes continues to be out. Rudy Gay has been playing really well off the bench and I’ll have some interest in Lonnie Walker if he starts. The Pelicans are also getting gashed by opposing bigs, which makes Jakob Poeltl a viable option as well. For the Pelicans, it’ll be all hands on deck as they’ll pretty much be eliminated if they lose this game, so look for Zion Williamson to see more of the floor here. The Pelicans guard rotation is deep, so you’re taking a dart throw with all these guys, but Lonzo Ball, Jrue Holiday, J.J. Redick, and Josh Hart are all in play for GPPs. Derrick Favors also draws a decent matchup here, our concern there is if he gets enough minutes to pay off value.

5-star play: DeMar Derozan

4-star play: Lonzo Ball, Zion Williamson, Jrue Holiday, Jakob Poeltl, Derrick Favors, Derrick White, Dejounte Murray

Deeper Value: Lonnie Walker, Derrick White, J.J. Redick

GPP Sleeper: Dejounte Murray

Orlando Magic @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: EVEN

The Magic have actually been playing at a faster pace in the bubble, and this game has some sneaky options in it that some people will overlook. Starting with the Magic, Nikola Vucevic is in a prime spot here as the Celtics struggle against bigs and the Magic will likely be without Aaron Gordon again. Evan Fournier makes for a solid cash option as long as Aaron Gordon is out. Rounding out the Magic, Terrence Ross needs to get it going offensively and Markelle Fultz should see additional minutes off the bench if Michael Carter-Williams is out again here. For the Celtics, Kemba Walker will be on a 30-32 minutes limit, but at 5.7K on FanDuel that’s more than enough for him to pay off value. Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown both are GPP viable, as you get a safer floor with Hayward, but a higher ceiling with Brown, both are playing really well right now. And of course, you can’t forget about Jayson Tatum as he’s playing really well (just make sure he has that hair lined up before the game) and has 50+ upside in a game like this. Daniel Theis can also be worth a few shots in GPPs at his price.

5-star play: Jayson Tatum, Nikola Vucevic

4-star play: Kemba Walker, Evan Fournier, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Terrence Ross, Daniel Theis

Deeper Value: Michael Carter-Williams, Robert Williams

GPP Sleeper: Markelle Fultz, Robert Williams

Philadelphia 76ers @ Portland Trail Blazers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: EVEN

The Blazers are fighting for that 8 spot, and they’re going to need to win out here if they want to make that happen. Starting with the 76ers, Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid are going to be your main targets here as they’ll carry a ton of usage with Simmons likely done for the foreseeable future. Josh Richardson and Shake Milton will see increased ball handling duties as well. Al Horford looked really good starting last time out, but his price has come up a bit as well. For the Trailblazers, Jusuf Nurkic has looked great in his first few games back, as he had 50 burgers in 3 and almost triple-doubled yesterday. Damian Lillard is getting all the minutes he can handle right now, and Pat Beverley and Paul George both lit that fire in him yesterday, so look for him to come out firing here today, he might be my favorite play on the slate. CJ McCollum is also getting minutes through the roof, he had a bit of an off game last time out but anyone getting this type of minutes are guys I want. Lastly, guys like Carmelo Anthony, Gary Trent, and Zach Collins are all in play as well for GPPs due to the role they play on this team, especially if Trent keeps shooting like he has been.

5-star play: Damian Lillard, Tobias Harris, Joel Embiid

4-star play: CJ McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic, Carmelo Anthony, Gary Trent Jr., Al Horford

Deeper Value: Josh Richardson, Shake Milton, Zach Collins

GPP Sleeper: Gary Trent Jr., Shake Milton

Houston Rockets @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: HOU -4.5

This is going to be everyone’s favorite game to target, as both these teams play at a breakneck pace which means a ton of fantasy points. Starting with the Rockets, both James Harden and Russell Westbrook are elite plays as usual. I expect both to play here and the Kings are good enough to keep this game close as well. That said, Westbrook is questionable, keep an eye on his status if he’s out it flips this slate on it’s back. Robert Covington makes a lot of sense here as well, his minutes are through the roof and his rebound equity is huge on this team as he plays more of a power forward role. Danuel House and PJ Tucker are both solid value/GPP guys due to the amount of three’s they’ll put up and rebounds they’re in line for. From the Kings, De’Aaron Fox has looked like the elite PG he is and has immense upside especially with how bad this Rockets defense is. Buddy Hield finally got some minutes last game and performed well. If Luke Walton would ever realize he’s one of their better scoring options he could be useable every night. But while his minutes are volatile he’s strictly a GPP play. Both Nemanja Bjelica and Richaun Holmes have been very below average to start this bubble, they’re GPP guys that I’m not trusting in cash until they prove it to me. Lastly, Bogdan Bogdanovic has been playing well and would make sense as a cash option in this spot as he should see a ton of minutes and he’s been scoring really well.

5-star play: James Harden, Russell Westbrook, De’Aaron Fox

4-star play: Danuel House, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Robert Covington

Deeper Value: PJ Tucker, Ben McLemore, Nemanja Bjelica

GPP Sleeper: Richaun Holmes, Bogdan Bogdanovic

Brooklyn Nets @ Los Angeles Clippers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: EVEN

Starting with the Nets, this game could get ugly if the Clips don’t sit any of their starters, but it will be the Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen show here as they’ll carry the load offensively. Joe Harris has also seen an increased role here as well with Kyrie and Dinwiddie out. They play a lot of guys, so taking a deeper GPP shot on guys like Chris Chiozza, Garrett Temple and Lance Thomas can make sense if you think the Clippers blow them out. Donta Hall is the only other big man the Nets have as well if you’re looking for deeper plays. For  the Clippers, it’s the Kawhi Leonard and Paul George show, both are elite options here as the Nets won’t have an answer for either of them, Paul George exited the 4th quarter of that game early yesterday, but they may rest him on the 2nd half of a B2B here as they should handle the Nets pretty easily. Montrezl Harrell is still out for this game but Lou Williams is back in action, but he didn’t look that great yesterday, especially in the 2nd half.  Reggie Jackson is the guy that will be hurt the most from Williams being back, however, he’ll be in play if Patrick Beverley misses this game again. Lastly, Ivica Zubac has been great in the bubble and getting playing time in the bubble and draws the Nets frontcourt treatment today.

5-star play: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Caris LeVert

4-star play: Reggie Jackson, Ivica Zubac, Jarrett Allen

Deeper Value: Joe Harris, Garrett Temple, Chris Chiozza, Donta Hall

GPP Sleeper: Ivica Zubac, Jarrett Allen

NBA Lock of the Day: Damian Lillard (DK – $10k; FD – $9.8k)

Paul George and Pat Beverley really pissed him off yesterday, so I can’t wait to see an angry Damian Lillard playing here in a must-win game for the Trail Blazers. It also doesn’t hurt that the Sixers are without Ben Simmons so he won’t draw that defense and he’s  going to play close to 40 minutes once again in this game even on a B2B simply because the Blazers need to basically win out if they want a shot at that 8 seed.
