Esports – LPL/LCK 4/11 2AM ET

Notes for Tonight’s 4/11 LCK-LPL Slate

5 game slate tonight.

LPL

OMG (-220) vs LGD (+155)

There a few good games today that you may want exposure to both sides on. This is one of them. OMG have won their last 2 against both VG and SN. They play a relatively slow paced game and I think that the scores of this game will depend on who wins. If OMG wins I will assume they don’t score as high. LGD score very high when they win. Peanut has been very good for them and he starts the snowball that let LDG run over RNG. I like LGD a bit more than OMG here, but OMG are very cheap for favourites. Both sides are in play and while I do prefer LGD, OMG are still perfectly fine.

Players to watch (OMG): Icon, h4cker, Smlz
Players to watch (LGD): Peanut, Kramer, Yuuki

ES (-200) vs WE (+145)

This is the game with the highest kill total and another one that would be good to have exposure to both sides if you are making multiple lineups. Estar have been on a 3 game losing streak and they really need to step it up in the final weeks of the season before playoffs. WE have had a lot of competitive games recently that have gone to 3 games, and they have scored very well even in their defeats. They know how to play aggressively and there is big upside to using them tonight. ES may be slightly under-owned today because of their losing streak, but I like them to win here. It is a close one and both these teams are firmly in play.

Players to watch (ES): Cryin, Wink, ShiauC
Players to watch (WE): Teacherma, Jiumeng, Beishang

RNG (-850) vs RW (+475)

This line has moved down from -1000 earlier for RNG and that is probably in relation to their recent loss to LGD and RW’s improved play. RNG really did not play well in that series and got rolled over in 2 games. I do think LGD played a huge part in that and I would mark that more as a positive for LGD than a negative for RNG. RW love to fight and RNG will have to match that aggression this time around in order to win. I do think RNG will bounce back here and this is a good spot for them to potentially put up a big score. RW have potential to win but I wouldn’t consider it extremely likely. Out of the 3 dogs in the LPL tonight I like RW the least out of the 3.

Players to watch (RNG): Xiaohu, Betty, LangX
Players to watch (RW): Haro, Zwuji

LCK

HLE (-130) vs APK (-105)

This is actually a decent spot to target an LCK game. Both these teams are rather aggressive and even if games drag out for a long time big scores can be earned here. HLE are an inconsistent team but when they are on like against Afreeca the other day, they can crush. Most of the time they are rather mediocre though. APK have lost 2 in a row after putting together a nice winning streak and are the slight dogs in this match. They are very cheap on DK and they are a good target in GPP. Hybrid puts up massive scores for them so he is your main target on APK. This is another game where having exposure to both sides could be beneficial as this game could be rather high scoring.

Players to watch (HLE): Haru, Vsta, Tempt
Players to watch (APK): Hybrid, Ikksu, Flawless

KT (-260) vs SB (+185)

KT are technically the second largest favourite on this slate. They beat T1 last night which probably influences that number, but they have been impressive regardless. They have turned it around from a dreadful start and Aiming is really putting his carry pants on for this team. SB are another lower tier inconsistent team. They seemingly change rosters every night, even between games, and it is hard to get a good read on them because of that. They have some good individual players but as a team they haven’t been great this season. KT make for an okay cash play but I think this game will be rather low scoring.

Players to watch: (KT): Aiming, bono, Kuro
Players to watch: (SB): Route, Dove, Summit

Favourite stacks: RNG > ES > LGD > OMG > APK > WE > KT > HLE > RW > SB
