NBA Full Court Press Breakdown, Advice, and Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Mar. 9th, 2020

Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides, that said, we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Michael aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Before I get started, make sure to check out the latest new DFS website. SuperDraft is an innovative new DFS site that does not have salaries but instead uses a multiplier system and better yet, THEY HAVE LATE SWAP! Check out more on how it works below!

-> SuperDraft FREE $10 Bonus <-

I also want to give out a shoutout to all the winners we had over the past week or so! DFSArmy took home a $200k, $25k, $20k, $10k, a SuperDraft $4k winner, and Kevin even took down the mini-max. Keep following your process and taking advantage of the tools that are here to make you successful, hell of a night fellas!

Full Court Press:

Charlotte Hornets @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 225

Vegas Spread: Atl -4.5

We will kick this short three-game slate off with the Charlotte Hornets. Terry Rozier has bounced back a bit and is playing 35+ minutes per game, I like him a good deal in this pace up spot especially for tournaments. Devonte’ Graham scored 36 fantasy points in this spot earlier this season and the Hawks are a team that can be scored on, he makes sense here as well. I’m going to continue to target big men against this Hawks team until Clint Capela is back, so PJ Washington is certainly in play here and scored 41 fantasy points on them earlier this season. Miles Bridges has back down to Earth a bit after his torrid run around the all-star break, he’s priced about right but on a short slate is in play. Lastly, Cody Zeller seems to have taken back over that starting center spot from Bismack Biyombo, he’s another center that you can consider on this slate. From the Hawks, they are pretty banged up right now, as De’Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish are both questionable here. I would think at least one of them plays and would be a great play if the other sits, but just a situation that we will need to monitor. Trae Young scored 52 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season and on a slate with little star power, he’s an elite option here again. John Collins has been very good as of late scoring at least 46 fantasy points in five of his last six games. That said, his price has caught up to him, he still makes for a nice play, however. Dewayne Dedmond is back up over 20 minutes and will draw a good chunk of run at the five in this one, he makes sense as a value option at center if you are in need.

5-star play: Trae Young

4-star play: Terry Rozier, Devonte’ Graham, John Collins

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Cody Zeller, De’Andre Hunter, Cam Reddish, Dewayne Dedmond

Toronto Raptors @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total: 225

Vegas Spread: Utah -4.5

Starting with the Raptors, Pascal Siakam scored 53.25 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season and makes for a nice play in his price range even in a tough matchup. Fred VanVleet missed another game last night and is questionable here. If he returns I would assume he’s on some sort of minutes limit which would keep my interest pretty minimal. Kyle Lowry sees a boost if VanVleet is out but is a fine play regardless, he has scored at least 45 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. Norman Powell is the biggest beneficiary if VanVleet needs to miss again, he is averaging 45 DraftKings points per game over his last two games. OG Anunoby came back down to Earth last night, but his steal numbers just weren’t sustainable at the rate he was getting them. That said, he’s still getting nearly 40 minutes per game and makes sense on a small slate. Lastly, Serge Ibaka is a fine play but not someone I’m overly thrilled about now that Marc Gasol is back. Gasol isn’t getting enough minutes for me to have an interest in him just yet, so he’s mostly a fade for me. From the Jazz, Rudy Gobert struggled in this spot earlier this season and has been a bit volatile as of late. He’s priced right where he should be and is a fine spend up option at the position. Donovan Mitchell is in the same boat, he’s priced about right but if you want to play him on a small slate I won’t talk you off him in tiers or something along those lines. Bojan Bogdanovic hasn’t exactly been the most consistent player either and really needs to shoot well to hit a GPP ceiling. Lastly, Mike Conley has been one of the more consistent options on this team, I like rounding out lineups with him.

5-star play: Pascal Siakam

4-star play: Kyle Lowry, Norman Powell, OG Anunoby, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Serge Ibaka, Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic

Milwaukee Bucks @ Denver Nuggets

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is doubtful here as he gets his knee checked out, not believed to be serious but no need for them to push him here. Here is how the rest of the team grades out with him off the court…

  • Khris Middleton – 33.6% usage rate; 1.44 fpm
  • Eric Bledsoe – 32.9% usage rate; 1.45 fpm
  • Brook Lopez – 22.1% usage rate; 1.06 fpm

Both Middleton and Bledsoe are two of the best plays on the slate and will be a signature piece of all my lineups. Ersan Ilyasova drew the start for Giannis yesterday but did close to nothing on the offensive end and neither did Marvin Williams. They are both too priced up for me to have much interest at all. Lastly, Donte DiVincenzo has been cooking for this team and makes sense in the lower tier on this slate. From the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic scored 43.5 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season and Brook Lopez doesn’t get enough credit for how good he is on defense, that said Jokic is still a great play here. I never love targeting guards against Eric Bledsoe as he’s a very strong on-ball defender, but on a short slate, it’s hard not to like Jamal Murray’s upside. Will Barton had a field day in this meeting earlier this season going for 48 fantasy points, he has the skill set that excels against the Bucks, I like him quite a bit here. Gary Harris has been sneaky good as of late and for a team that gives up a lot of threes in the Bucks, Harris makes perfect sense here. Lastly, you can make a case for Paul Millsap, his minutes are just pretty volatile at this point in the season as they gear up for the playoffs.

5-star play: Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Nikola Jokic

4-star play: Brook Lopez, Donte DiVincenzo, Gary Harris, Jamal Murray, Will Barton

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Paul Millsap, Jerami Grant
