NBA Full Court Press Breakdown, Advice, and Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Feb. 13th, 2020

Full Court Press:

Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides, that said, we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Steve aka @mutt_18  on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Before I get started, make sure to check out the latest new DFS website. SuperDraft is an innovative new DFS site that does not have salaries but instead uses a multiplier system and better yet, THEY HAVE LATE SWAP! Check out more on how it works below!

Full Court Press:

Los Angeles Clippers @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: BOS -1.5

Starting with the Clippers, the main two guys you’ll want to target is obviously going to be Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. They lead the team in usage, and both will likely need to come out to play here if the Clippers want to win this game. Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams will also likely play heavy minutes here, as they are their two best players off the bench. However, outside of these guys there isn’t much to like on the Clippers. But on a two game slate you’re going to have to get creative. Landry Shamet will run the point again if Bev is out, but he’s very scoring dependent. Marcus Morris is also in play here as he’s providing a nice spark since getting traded.

The Celtics are basically back to full strength, and they’re going to need it tonight against the Clippers. Kemba Walker is going to firmly be in play here, especially if Pat Bev is out again. Gordon Hayward draws another elite matchup and checks a lot of boxes for me here as well, he has the higher ceiling of him and Jaylen Brown and will see a boost as Brown is playing with two bum ankles right now. Jaylen Brown is also firmly in play, and is more of the cash game option while Hayward is your GPP guy, but I wouldn’t recommend cash on a 2 game slate. Jayson Tatum is also firmly in play here, but I don’t love the matchup against the Clippers. Marcus Smart is also probable tonight, and draws a nice matchup if he starts in place of Jaylen Brown. Daniel Theis is also in play if he starts again tonight and if he starts, bump down Enes Kanter.

5-star plays: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George

4-star plays: Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Marcus Morris

Deeper Value: Landry Shamet, Enes Kanter, Daniel Theis

GPP Sleeper: Landry Shamet

Oklahoma City Thunder @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: NOP -2.5

For the Thunder, their guards draw a really solid matchup here, namely Chris Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, as both are playing 30+ minutes and the Pelicans have been struggling against guards all year long. Steven Adams also is way too cheap on FanDuel and is trending upward everywhere, I love the matchup for him here as he’s still too cheap. Nerlens Noel is also a nice value play here as he’s been playing 20+ minutes a game and can get you 25-35 FPs. Dennis Schroder has also been playing really well along with Danilo Gallinari, both are solid GPP plays here tonight as well.

For the Pelicans, if Brandon Ingram sits again then I’ll be going right back to Jrue Holiday as he’ll be way too cheap and had a monster game last time out. Zion Williamson also gets a great matchup here, as he’s way too quick for Adams to stop, as he’s been playing the 5 at times. Derrick Favors also draws a tougher matchup, but he’s healthy and should be close to a double double. Josh Hart has been playing big minutes off the bench and is a decent value play here as well. A lot will come down to whether or not Ingram plays or not.

5-star play: Chris Paul, Zion Williamson, Jrue Holiday

4-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Hart, Derrick Favors, Dennis Schroder, Danilo Gallinari

Deeper Value: Josh Hart, Jaxson Hayes

GPP Sleeper: Jrue Holiday
