Full Court Press:

New York Knicks @ Charlotte Hornets

Vegas Total: 209

Vegas Spread: CHA -2.0

From the Knicks, Julius Randle draws a decent matchup here, and he’s been playing really well for the Knicks over the past few weeks and anchoring their offense. Mitchell Robinson has been starting as of late as well, and I’ll have a little interest there. RJ Barrett has been ruled out, so that’ll be a nice boost to Marcus Morris who has been picking it up as of late as well. Lastly, Elfrid Payton has been starting and playing well. This game has a low total so I’m not going heavy here.

From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham isn’t in the greatest form, but he’s playing a ton of minutes and draws a solid matchup against a bad Knicks backcourt. Terry Rozier has been playing big minutes as well, and averaging over 20 actual points a game. This is a decent matchup for PJ Washington but I’m not going out of my way to play him here. Miles Bridges played well in this matchup last time out making him viable for cash games.

5-star plays: Julius Randle

4-star plays: Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier, Mitchell Robinson, Elfrid Payton

Deeper Value: PJ Washington, Miles Bridges, Marcus Morris

GPP Sleeper: Devonte’ Graham

Golden State Warriors @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: PHI -13.5

For the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell is squarely in play here, as he draws a ton of usage and is their main source of offense. Alec Burks is also in play here, but his ceiling isn’t as high with Russell in the mix as he won’t dominate the usage there. Damion Lee is also in play for a decent value here as it seems they have his contract issue finally squared away. If he sits it is a boost for both Russell and Burks. Draymond Green is also in play here, although his usage leaves a lot to be desired. With Willie Cauley-Stein gone, Omari Spellman and Eric Paschall get the bumps there, I prefer whichever one starts. Marquesse Chriss in play for value as well, although he is more volatile, but the blowout factors looms in this game.

Starting with the Sixers, Joel Embiid is a GTD, he’s firmly in play if he suits up tonight, but the blowout risk is real. If Embiid sits, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, and Al Horford all draw elite usage with the starting 5. Simmons is going to be my favorite of the three as the Warriors don’t really have anyone that can matchup with him and they bleed FPs to opposing guards. Tobias Harris would also see a nice usage boost here (+2.5%) and will take on more of a role offensively here, which raises his ceiling if Embiid is out. Al Horford would also see a 4.5% usage increase. Josh Richardson has already been ruled out as well, which means Furkan Korkmaz also makes for a decent value play, as he has been shooting well and will see extra run if this turns into a blowout. Matisse Thybulle has also been playing heavy minutes with Richardson out as well, but he has a 13.5% usage rate.

5-star play: D’Angelo Russell, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris

4-star play: Al Horford, Eric Paschall, Omari Spellman, Draymond Green

Deeper Value: Marquesse Chriss, Furkan Korkmaz, Matisse Thybulle

GPP Sleeper: Marquesse Chriss

New Orleans Pelicans @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Total: 214.5

Vegas Spread: NO -7.5

For the Pelicans, Jrue Holiday has been playing some good basketball as of late, and gets an elite matchup here. Brandon Ingram has a 31.1% usage rate and 1.34 fantasy points per minute, and is an elite play here as well. Both Derrick Favors and Lonzo Ball are in great form here and Favors is coming off a monster game as well. With Kenrich Williams also already out, which opens up some minutes for E’Twaun Moore and Josh Hart as well. Zion Williamson is also firmly in play here, as he has shown he can put up FPs in a hurry even on a minutes limit.

For the Cavs, Kevin Love sees a really good matchup here, as the Pelicans, but especially ones that can stretch the floor. Tristan Thompson who has also been playing well, but losing minutes to Larry Nance since Clarkson got shipped out of town and its the second half of a B2B for them. Collin Sexton and Darius Garland are both in play for GPPs. I like Sexton here more as he’s been playing really well as of late. Larry Nance makes for a decent value play as well, but he’ll be a premier value play if Love or Thompson end up sitting for whatever reason. If either of those bigs rest for the Cavs, John Henson would become a great value play as well.

5-star play: Kevin Love, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram

4-star play: Tristan Thompson, Collin Sexton, Darius Garland, Derrick Favors, Zion Williamson

Deeper Value: Larry Nance, John Henson

GPP Sleeper: Larry Nance

Atlanta Hawks @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 233

Vegas Spread: TOR -12.5

For the Hawks, Trae Young is your guy here tonight, as he has a 30+ % usage rate and gets a tougher matchup against Lowry, but he’s been playing at another level and will want to honor Kobe again tonight. John Collins has proven massive upside already since returning from his suspension, I think he makes sense here again here, especially if Len is ruled out again, as it’ll be the Trae and Collins show. Kevin Huerter’s price has come back down to a playable level as a secondary cash option. While Alex Len is an elite GPP option due to his upside, but way too volatile for cash games and is currently a GTD, but if he plays they’ll need his size against Gasol and Ibaka.

From the Raptors, Pascal Siakam has been rounding back into form, having his best game a few nights ago. This is an elite matchup, I like him quite a bit at a discounted price tag. Kyle Lowry currently leads the league in minutes and is an elite play again tonight as Trae’s defense is still a work in progress. Marc Gasol also is a nice play here at a discounted price as he is back in the lineup as well and the Hawks struggle against opposing bigs. Fred VanVleet is also in play here, and I think we have a nice sleeper matchup for Serge Ibaka here as well.

5-star play: Trae Young, Pascal Siakam

4-star play: Kyle Lowry, Marc Gasol, John Collins, Fred VanVleet

Deeper Value: Serge Ibaka, Kevin Huerter, DeAndre Hunter

GPP Sleeper: Serge Ibaka

Washington Wizards @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 240

Vegas Spread: MIL -16.0

Bradley Beal is still an elite play here, as the one spot the Bucks struggle with is defending the perimeter and if the Wizards are going to keep this one close, it’ll be because of him. Thomas Bryant is still being eased back in, but I can see him pick up some additional minutes in case of a blowout. Davis Bertans and Ish Smith are also firmly in play for GPPs and won’t break the bank. Ish will pick up some additional minutes here as McRae has already been ruled out for tonight.

From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has an insane 39.1% usage rate and 1.91 fantasy points per minute on the season, he’s an elite play here, as the Wizards are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA. It is just up to you whether or not you think the Wizards can keep this competitive. Khris Middleton is back down to a playable price, he’s more of a guy that I want for cash games as he’s a very consistent player and he has some solid upside in a matchup like this. Eric Bledsoe is slowly getting his minutes back, and he’s been playing much better as of late. If George Hill is ruled out again, that will also put Donte DiVincenzo squarely in play for value once again. I have a suspicion that the Bucks will blow them out here, so Pat Connaughton makes for a decent value as well.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play: Bradley Beal, Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Davis Bertans, Ish Smith

Deeper Value: Donte DiVincenzo, Pat Connaughton, George Hill

GPP Sleeper: Pat Connaughton

Denver Nuggets @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: 225.5

Vegas Spread: EVEN

From the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic draws a nice matchup here, as JoVal struggles with slow feet defensively. Jamal Murray will be out again here and Will Barton stepped up accordingly last game going and becomes a really solid play here as well as he’ll take on some of the PG duties. Monte Morris and Malik Beasley will take over the point guard minutes, everyone and their mother were on Morris last game as Beasley went for 39 minutes. I’m almost tempted to just take the salary savings on Beasley. It seems like coach Malone is just going to ride the hot hand. Michael Porter Jr’s price tag has skyrocketed but for good reason. He will see a minutes bump with Murray off the court as well, but makes for an intriguing GPP fade as they are careful with the youngster’s minutes.

Starting with the Grizzlies, Ja Morant has looked incredible over his two weeks or so. He’s also priced down for a tougher matchup against the Nuggets, I like the upside here for GPPs as the Nuggets backcourt isn’t great defensively. Jonas Valanciunas draws a tougher matchup here, I love him for GPPs at a very good price tag despite the matchup. Lastly, Jaren Jackson and Dillion Brooks make sense as secondary plays as both have been playing really well as of late.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic, Ja Morant

4-star play: Will Barton, Jonas Valanciunas, Jaren Jackson, Dillon Brooks

Deeper Value: Monte Morris, Michael Porter Jr., Malik Beasley

GPP Sleeper: Michael Porter Jr.

Boston Celtics @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: MIA -3.5

Kemba Walker is firmly in play here, as he is still underpriced on all sites and draws a solid matchup here, as the Heat are on the 2nd half of a B2B. Gordon Hayward is also in play here, and draws a decent matchup, but I’m expecting this game to be very slow, so I’m not going out of my way to play him here, unless Jaylen Brown sits tonight.  Lastly, Enes Kanter has already been ruled out for tonight, so that puts Daniel Theis in play as one of the few Celtics big men that are healthy. Jayson Tatum is doubtful tonight, so that’s more of a boost to Theis and Hayward.

For the Heat, this is a great matchup for Bam Adebayo who is coming off of a monster game last night. The upside is there again tonight. Jimmy Butler also played well last night, but I have a sneaking suspicion he may rest tonight. Kendrick Nunn missed last game and may not play again tonight which would be a major boost to Goran Dragic who is one of the more intriguing plays on this slate. If Nunn out again, that also puts Tyler Herro firmly in play for GPPs as well.

5-star play: Kemba Walker, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo

4-star play: Daniel Theis, Goran Dragic, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward

Deeper Value: Tyler Herro, Marcus Smart

GPP Sleeper: Tyler Herro

Phoenix Suns @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: DAL -6.0

Starting with the Suns, Devin Booker is a solid play here, as he has been heating up over the past few weeks, and his price is really starting to catch up across the industry, he’s a really good play here tonight as the Suns will lean on him and Ayton. Ricky Rubio is playing a ton of minutes and playing very well as of late, and he’s coming off his best game of the season so he should keep that momentum going here. Kelly Oubre also has an elite ceiling as we’ve seen, and the Mavs do struggle against SFs. Lastly, DeAndre Ayton is squarely in play here as the Mavs interior is pretty soft even with the addition of WCS.

For the Mavericks, the main target you’re going to want in this game is Luka Doncic as he is playing really good basketball right now, and even with Kristaps Porzingis back, he’s still be playing at an elite level. He also draws an elite matchup against Ricky Rubio or Devin Booker. Porzingis hasn’t been in the best form, but this is a matchup he should excel in. Willie Cauley-Stein was also just traded to the Mavs, and if he clears his physical he’ll likely draw the start here as the Mavericks need bodies. They’re also on the 2nd half of a B2B, so I wouldn’t be shocked if he didn’t play tonight. If he doesn’t play, then it opens the door for Maxi Kleber to play big minutes as well. Tim Hardaway Jr. is also in play for GPPs but he’s very scoring dependent. Seth Curry has also been starting and playing some really good basketball as well, and his minutes are blowout proof. Delon Wright looked really good last night as well, and is a deeper GPP play here who will be unowned.

5-star play: Luka Doncic, Devin Booker

4-star play: Kristaps Porzingis, Ricky Rubio, DeAndre Ayton, Kelly Oubre

Deeper Value: Maxi Kleber, Seth Curry, Delon Wright

GPP Sleeper: Seth Curry, Delon Wright

Los Angeles Clippers @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Spread: TBD
