Full Court Press:

Detroit Pistons @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: 218.0

Vegas Spread: Bos -9.5

Starting with the Pistons, Andre Drummond has cooled down a bit over his past two games but did score 42.3 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season. Kanter doesn’t exactly play lockdown defense. He’s priced nicely here and more than playable. Derrick Rose continues to see heavy minutes as he has 39.5 Draftkings points in four of his last five games. Lastly, both Bruce Brown and Sekou Doumbouya are nice secondary options as they’ve been in pretty good form. From the Celtics, Jayson Tatum is all over the map lately, he’ll drop 60 Draftkings points one day and then 25 as chalk. He’s tough to predict but did score 41.8 Draftkings points in this spot earlier this season. Kemba Walker hasn’t been in great form, but I do think he has a nice upside at this price tag in a decent matchup. Both Jaylen Brown and Gordon Hayward are pretty similar to me, more of secondary GPP options than anything, they haven’t been all too consistent as of late considering their price tags. Lastly, the Celtics will need Enes Kanter’s size in this one and scored 33.5 Draftkings points in this spot earlier this season, he’s a nice GPP option at the very least.

5-star play: Andre Drummond

4-star play: Derrick Rose, Bruce Brown, Sekou Doumbouya, Jayson Tatum, Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Enes Kanter

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum, Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown

Brooklyn Nets @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 218

Vegas Spread: Phi -7.5

Starting with the Nets, Kyrie Irving wasted no time getting back to his old self last night. He played 32 minutes and scored 63.25 Draftkigns points. It appears his minutes’ restriction is gone and is expected to play on the back to back. It’s tough not to like him at this price tag if he’s going to see his full minutes. This will hurt Spencer Dinwiddie who still saw 36 minutes last night but the usage and shots clearly aren’t there as he only put up 28.5 Draftkings points. His price needs to come down for me. Jarrett Allen is coming off a tough game against the Jazz and likely won’t see a better one here as he’ll likely see Al Horford on defense, he’s a GPP play at best. Lastly, both Taurean Prince and Caris LeVert make sense for secondary GPP options. From the Sixers, Ben Simmons is playing huge minutes and gets a great matchup here, he’s an elite play. Tobias Harris has been pretty consistently around that 35 Draftkings point marker as of late, I was expecting him to take a big leap with Embiid out but he hasn’t. That said, I love him in this spot against the Nets. Big men against the Nets is a real thing and Al Horford has played great in fill-in for Embiid, I like him a good amount here. Lastly, Josh Richardson is a secondary cash option on a big slate.

5-star play: Kyrie Irving, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Al Horford

4-star play: Taurean Prince, Josh Richardson

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince

San Antonio Spurs @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: 222

Vegas Spread: Mia -5.0

Starting with the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge has come back down to Earth over his past few games but is still producing some very consistent Draftkings outings lately, that said, I don’t love him in a tough matchup against the Heat. DeMar DeRozan followed up his 63 points Draftkings game nicely with a 44 point game. However, he will likely get Jimmy Butler defense here which is enough for me to go another direction. I love the price on Dejounte Murray who has proven he can be a nice point per minute guy, he’s a nice GPP play. From the Heat, Bam Adebayo has been kind of volatile as of late, I don’t love the matchup for him, but he’s still a solid GPP play due to his upside. This is a great spot for Jimmy Butler, he has scored 48+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games and the Spurs have struggled with guards all season. Justise Winslow didn’t waste any time getting back on the injury report, he’s going to go see a specialist on his back, but will be out for this one. This means a boost for Goran Dragic, Kendrick Nunn, and Tyler Herro. Dragic and Nunn are GPP options while I’ll likely fade Herro.

5-star play: Jimmy Butler

4-star play: LaMarcus Aldridge, Dejounte Murray, Bam Adebayo, Goran Dragic

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Dejounte Murray, Kendrick Nunn, Tyler Herro

Indiana Pacers @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis is currently questionable but we will operate under the assumption that he is active tonight. This is a great spot for him as the Wolves play very little defense, he’s also been one of the more consistent players in the league this season. Malcolm Brogdon is finally back and wasted no time getting back to his early-season self, scoring 46 Draftkings points last game. He’s a nice play as well here. Myles Turner is one of the more volatile pieces of this team, I like him for GPPs as a matchup with KAT (if he plays) really doesn’t scare me. Lastly, both TJ Warren and Jeremy Lamb are GPP plays in a nice matchup. From the Wolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has been questionable for about a month now and has yet to play. At this point, I’m going to operate under the assumption that he’s out until he returns. Even if he returns here I won’t have any interest as I would think he would be on some kind of minute restriction. Andrew Wiggins has been held to under 20 Draftkings points in two straight games but does seem too cheap here. On the other hand, Robert Covington has two straight games of 35+ Draftkings points, he’s a nice secondary option. Gorgui Dieng hasn’t played more than 20 minutes in three straight games, he’s a GPP play at best in a tough matchup. Lastly, Jarrett Culver and Jeff Teague are fine GPP plays, but nobody that I want to prioritize.

5-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon

4-star play: Andrew Wiggins, Myles Turner, Robert Covington

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Gorgui Dieng, Jarrett Culver, Jeff Teague, TJ Warren, Jeremy Lamb

Toronto Raptors @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 213.5

Vegas Spread: Okc -2.0

Starting with the Raptors, Pascal Siakam returned last game and played 30 minutes. I’m no longer worried about a minutes restriction with him, but the matchup isn’t the greatest. He’s a nice GPP play at a pretty cheap price tag. Kyle Lowry currently leads the league in minutes and has at least 46 Draftkings points in three of his last four games. If Siakam is back, Serge Ibaka has 40+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games. With Siakam and Gasol back you might expect his usage to go down, but again it’s a tough matchup anyway.Lastly, I don’t love the price on Norman Powell but you could make a case for deep GPPs. From the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is coming off the best game of his young career going for 66.5 Draftkings points. I don’t expect that kind of production here and I honestly think there may be some point chasing by the public here. I don’t hate a fade on him to try and get some leverage on the field, but he’s a good play if you want to go there. Steven Adams is priced where he should be and with Gasol and Siakam back I don’t love the matchup, he’s more of a GPP option for me. Chris Paul scored 51.3 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season and the price is pretty nice on him. Danilo Gallinari makes sense as a secondary play in all formats while Dennis Schroeder is more of a GPP play as he’s not in the best of form.

5-star play: Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, Chris Paul

4-star play: Serge Ibaka, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Dennis Schroeder, Norman Powell, OG Anunoby

Washington Wizards @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 227

Vegas Spread: Chi -4.5

Starting with the Wizards, Bradley Beal returned last game and played 27 minutes, I would expect that number to go up here. This is a great matchup and I love the price on him, he’s an elite play in all formats. With Beal back in, I think Jordan McRae is a bit too expensive and I’ll wait for that price to come down a bit. Troy Brown is a bit too expensive for me to love him here, but he’s getting consistently high minutes in a great matchup. Ish Smith continues to play well but with Bradley Beal back I would expect his shots and usage to go down, more of a deep GPP option for me. Davis Bertans has seen his minutes increase slowly over his past two games and I would expect him to be around the 30 mark here, I love the price on him, he also scored 43 Draftkings points against the Bulls earlier this season. Lastly, Thomas Bryant returned last game and played 15 minutes, I’ll go back to him once his minutes come back up. From the Bulls, I think Zach LaVine has finally reached a price where I’m hesitant to go back to him even in a great matchup. That said, he’s playing huge minutes and has shot at least 18 field goals in nine of his last ten games, he’s an elite GPP option given the matchup. Lauri Markkanen is too expensive for me even in a great matchup here given his recent production. Lastly, Tomas Satoransky, Kris Dunn, and Thaddeus Young make sense as deep GPP options if you want to get more exposure to this game.

5-star play: Bradley Beal

4-star play: Troy Brown, Davis Bertans, Zach LaVine, Tomas Satoransky

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Ish Smith, Lauri Markkanen, Kris Dunn, Thaddeus Young

Charlotte Hornets @ Denver Nuggets

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Hornets, there really isn’t a lot I like from this team. This is a difficult matchup for the Hornets and is one of the lower implied games on the slate, both teams play at a snail’s pace. Devonte’ Graham is coming off a nice 52 point Draftkings outing and makes for a decent GPP play. Terry Rozier has been pretty consistent as of late other than his 12 point stinker against the Suns, I still don’t think you need to go there on a ten-game slate. The rest of this team is deep GPP plays at best, I just don’t think you need to go there. From the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic is in great form and has 51+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games. The Hornets have struggled with opposing big men all season, tough not to like him here. Both Will Barton and Jamal Murray make sense as GPP options here. Murray is currently questionable, if he needs to sit here I would increase my Barton exposure a decent amount. Lastly, you can make a case for Jerami Grant with Paul Millsap still out with an injury.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic

4-star play: Will Barton, Jamal Murray, Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Will Barton, Jamal Murray, Jerami Grant, Terry Rozier, Devonte’ Graham

Portland Trailblazers @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Blazers, Damian Lillard put up just 37 Draftkings points in this spot earlier this season. I do think he’s priced a bit too high for my interest, but he still has an elite upside which makes him viable for GPPs. Hassan Whiteside had a dud last game and struggled in this matchup earlier this year, Clint Capela is a tough matchup for opposing bigs, I’ll likely go elsewhere on this slate. Both CJ McCollum and Carmelo Anthony are in pretty good form and make for decent GPP options in what should be a pretty high scoring game. From the Rockets, both James Harden and Russell Westbrook are elite plays here and I won’t talk you off of either of them, the Blazers don’t play a whole lot of defense. My favorite play on this team might be Clint Capela who scored 58 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season. Whiteside is a turnstile on defense which makes me love Capela here. Lastly, Eric Gordon slides back down to secondary GPP option with Russell Westbrook back in the lineup.

5-star play: James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Clint Capela

4-star play: Damian Lillard, Carmelo Anthony, CJ McCollum

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Hassan Whiteside, Eric Gordon

Dallas Mavericks @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Mavericks, I don’t need to tell you that Luka Doncic is an elite play. But, I will tell you that he hasn’t scored more than 47 Draftkings points in any of his last three games and may get Kristaps Porzingis back here. Doncic loses 1.5% usage when Porzingis is on the court, which isn’t a whole lot in the grand scheme of things, but he’s not in great form and at this price tag you really want to be confident in your guy, and I don’t know if I am. All that said, he’s a walking triple-double, so don’t let me talk you off of him if you like the spot. Other than Doncic I don’t have a whole lot of interest in anyone on this team if Porzingis plays. If he’s out again you can go back to the Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber well. From the Kings, De’Aaron Fox is on a heater right now in which he has at least 56 Draftkings points in back to back games. That said, the Mavs have been great against opposing point guards this season. Buddy Hield continues to play huge minutes and is a nice GPP play here as usual. Nemanja Bjelica is coming off a 50 burger last game and will have Richaun Holmes out here again which makes him viable. Marvin Bagley saw 23 minutes last game, I would expect these to come up slowly. He’s dealt with quite a bit of injuries in his early career so I imagine they don’t want to push him too much.

5-star play: Luka Doncic

4-star play: De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Nemanja Bjelica

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Maxi Kleber, Dwight Powell, Tim Hardaway

Orlando Magic @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Magic, this is an incredibly difficult matchup for Nikola Vucevic who is in great form. I don’t know that I can feel confident going there, I’ll reserve him for GPP only. Evan Fournier has three straight games of at least 33 Draftkings points, I won’t talk you off of him in cash games. Aaron Gordon actually performed well in this matchup earlier this season scoring 42 Draftkings points. I wouldn’t expect that kind of production again, but the price tag is pretty nice. Lastly, Markelle Fultz makes for a fine GPP option. From the Lakers, tell me if you’ve heard this before… Anthony Davis is a game-time decision. I’ll operate under the assumption that he is in, but keep an eye on our Breaking News Feed for updates on his status. Both he and LeBron James are elite plays as usual. I get asked in slack quite a bit if you can play these two together and honestly, I would pick one and stick to your guns. The odds of them both going for ceiling games is very low. Dwight Howard is playing great basketball and has at least 31 Draftkings points in four of his last five games and makes sense for GPPs. Lastly, I’ll likely only play Kyle Kuzma if one of LeBron or AD is out.

5-star play: LeBron James, Anthony Davis

4-star play: Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, Markelle Fultz, Dwight Howard, Evan Fournier

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Dwight Howard, Aaron Gordon, Markelle Fultz, Kyle Kuzma
