Full Court Press:
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Boston Celtics
Vegas Total: 216
Vegas Spread: Bos -13.5
Starting with the Cavaliers, Kevin Love is in terrible form as he has been held under 20 Draftkings points in four of his last five games. I will wait until he starts to get back on track before I go back to him. I don’t hate Tristan Thompson here, but on a big slate, he’s not any kind of priority. Both Collin Sexton and Larry Nance make sense as GPP plays, while Darius Garland can be played as a GPP value. From the Celtics, Kemba Walker scored 46.5 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season, I like this spot for him in GPPs. Jayson Tatum has been in great form scoring 44+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games. Jaylen Brown is in pretty good form as well, he’s more of a GPP guy though.
5-star play: Kemba Walker
4-star play: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Tristan Thompson
Deeper Value: Darius Garland
GPP Sleeper: Kevin Love, Collin Sexton, Larry Nance
Orlando Magic @ Milwaukee Bucks
Vegas Total: 219
Vegas Spread: Mil -12.0
Starting with the Magic, this is a tough spot for the forwards in Aaron Gordon and Jonathan Isaac. Giannis will be guarding them throughout the game and will make it tough on them. That said, this is a huge pace up spot for the Magic, so I don’t hate going here in GPPs. Evan Fournier has played some good basketball as of late and the Bucks funnel points to the three-point line, I like him here. Markelle Fultz and Terrance Ross are solid GPP guys as well. From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is the man here and has a usage rate of over 35%, I don’t know that I love the spot though on a 9 game slate at his price tag. That said, he’s the best point per minute guy in the league so you can’t fade him in GPPs entirely. Khris Middleton seems to be stuck at about 25 minutes right now however he’s playing well in those limited minutes. I’ll wait this one out however and see if he gets back up near that 30 mark. Eric Bledsoe isn’t in the best of form but has some good upside, I’ll save him for GPPs. The same can be said for Brook Lopez, I’m really not huge on the Bucks here against a team that plays slow and that they should put away fairly easily.
5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo
4-star play: Evan Fournier, Khris Middleton
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Aaron Gordon, Jonathan Isaac, Markelle Fultz, Terrance Ross, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez

Los Angeles Clippers @ Indiana Pacers
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
There isn’t a total on this game yet, it wouldn’t surprise me to see one of the Clippers superstars sit here on the back end of a back to back. That said, we will start with the Clippers and assume everyone is playing. Both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are in great spots here as they lead this team with usage pretty handily. Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell are both secondary plays but great for GPPs. From the Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon missed their last game and is considered questionable here, be sure to keep an eye on that news. If he ends up being ruled out Justin Holiday would likely pick up the start and TJ McConnell would also be in line for more minutes making them both nice value options. Domantas Sabonis has scored 45+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games, he is a nice cash play here. Both Jeremy Lamb and TJ Warren make sense as GPP plays as well.
5-star play: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Domantas Sabonis
4-star play: Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Malcolm Brogdon, Jeremy Lamb, TJ Warren
Deeper Value: Justin Holiday, TJ McConnell (If Brogdon is out)
GPP Sleeper: Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, TJ Warren, Jeremy Lamb
Toronto Raptors @ Chicago Bulls
Vegas Total: 215
Vegas Spread: Tor -4.5
Starting with the Raptors, Pascal Siakam is now below $8k on Draftkings and I think we can start to buy low on him in a good matchup against the Bulls frontcourt. Kyle Lowry has returned from injury and is being thrown right back into 40ish minutes per game, he makes sense here as well. The return of Lowry hasn’t affected Fred VanVleet’s minutes as he is still getting around 40 per game, tough not to like the price on him, however, he is questionable here so keep an eye on him. That is the extent of my interest in this team unless VanVleet ends up sitting, then Norman Powell and OG Anunoby should see a boost. From the Bulls, Zach LaVine is getting a crazy amount of minutes and playing pretty well, I like him here. Wendell Carter isn’t in the best of form and gets a tough matchup here, he’s mostly a fade for me. Lauri Markkanen is finally in better form as he has 31+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games, I like the price on him here. Tomas Satoransky now has two straight dud games, I’ll wait for him to get back on track before I go back to him.
5-star play: Pascal Siakam, Zach LaVine
4-star play: Lauri Markkanen, Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Lauri Markkanen
Detroit Pistons @ New Orleans Pelicans
Vegas Total: 227
Vegas Spread: Nop -1.0
Starting with the Pistons, Andre Drummond has 58+ Draftkings points in three straight games and the Pels really don’t have a big man that is able to stop him. Drummond may have a Barbara Walters in his future. Blake Griffin always feels too expensive for me but is coming off a nice game and gets a pace-up spot. Derrick Rose and Luke Kennard make sense here as well as there will be plenty of points to go around in this one. From the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram’s minutes have come down a bit over his past two games but I do like going back to him here hoping he comes in at lower ownership. Jrue Holiday is coming off a dud game as well, but I’m not looking too much into it he feels too cheap here. Lonzo Ball has been all over the place, he’s a GPP play simply due to the fact he’s a triple-double threat every time he takes the court.
5-star play: Andre Drummond, Brandon Ingram, Jrue Holiday
4-star play: Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Lonzo Ball
Sacramento Kings @ Houston Rockets
Vegas Total: 227.5
Vegas Spread: Hou -12.0
Starting with the Kings, Buddy Hield is the boom-or-bust guy on this team, but he plays massive amounts of minutes which keeps him in play for me and has been fairly consistent as of late, he has 40+ Draftkings points in four of his last five games. Bogdan Bogdanovic is considered probable for this game but just doesn’t feel healthy right now, I’ll use this game as a wait-and-see type of approach. Richaun Holmes came back down to Earth last game, but Marvin Bagley is expected to miss this game as well making Holmes a solid play yet again. You can also throw Nemanja Bjelica and Harrison Barnes in that category as well, both have played well lately. From the Rockets, it was Russell Westbrook that had the big day last time out going for 71 Draftkings points while James Harden went for 57. I like going right back to Harden here and letting people chase that Westbrook game. Although he has now scored 55+ Draftkings points in three straight games. Both are elite plays here. Clint Capela has had back to back dud games, this is a nice bounceback spot for him, I like him at this price tag. After that, Ben McLemore and PJ Tucker are playing great minutes, they are solid secondary options.
5-star play: Buddy Hield, Russell Westbrook, James Harden
4-star play: Richaun Holmes, Nemanja Bjelica, Harrison Barnes, Clint Capela
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Ben McLemore, PJ Tucker, Nemanja Bjelica, Harrison Barnes

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Utah Jazz
Vegas Total: 212.5
Vegas Spread: Utah -8.5
Starting with the Thunder, I never love targeting the Jazz defense because they are one of the bests in the league, but we will see what we can scrape together here. I don’t hate the price on guys like Chris Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but they’re more of GPP guys due to the matchup. Danilo Gallinari and Steven Adams are in a similar situation, two tough matchups, but you could do worse at the price. From the Jazz, Mike Conley has already been ruled out for this game which should benefit Donovan Mitchell. That said, Mitchell struggled in the same scenario last time out. Overall I still like him as he has a 32.6% usage rate and 1.1 fantasy points per minute with Conley off the court. Rudy Gobert struggled in this matchup earlier this season, he’s more of a GPP guy for me. The same can be said for Bojan Bogdanovic who is very scoring dependent. Joe Ingles will slide into the starting lineup with Conley out and scored 37 Draftkings points last time out, I like him here at this price tag.
5-star play: Donovan Mitchell
4-star play: Danilo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Rudy Gobert, Bojan Bogdanovic
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Danilo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Rudy Gobert, Bojan Bogdanovic
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Timberwolves, this is a great matchup for most of this team so we can start with Karl-Anthony Towns who scored 62 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this year. He feels way underpriced here, I love him in this spot. Andrew Wiggins is in good form and will be in play for all formats. Jeff Teague went back to the bench yesterday and didn’t do a whole lot in a shootout with the Lakers, he’s too expensive for me here. Finally, Robert Covington is a fine GPP play to round out the team. From the Suns, Devin Booker has two straight games of at least 50+ Draftkings points. In a matchup against a bad defensive team, I like him here. Ricky Rubio also makes sense at a reasonable price tag. Kelly Oubre is pretty boom-or-bust but in this matchup, I think he thrives great GPP option. It sounds like Aron Baynes will be back for this game so we will have to wait and see how they rotate Dario Saric and Frank Kaminsky in, I’ll take a wait and see approach on this situation.
5-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns, Devin Booker
4-star play: Andrew Wiggins, Ricky Rubio, Kelly Oubre
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre
Memphis Grizzlies @ Golden State Warriors
Vegas Total: 218.5
Vegas Spread: GS -3.0
Starting with the Grizzlies, Jonas Valanciunas came back down to Earth in his last game but draws a great matchup here if he is able to get the minutes. He’s an elite GPP play. Ja Morant is expected back here so we can leave Tyus Jones and Melton out of our player pools, however, I don’t think I’ll hop right on the Morant train just yet. Lastly, Jaren Jackson and Jae Crowder make sense as GPP guys against this Warriors team but nothing more than that. From the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell played 29 minutes in his last game and looks to be around that 30-minute mark we want, I like him at this price tag and expect him to go back to owning the usage on this team. Eric Pascall and Draymond Green are similarly priced, I don’t hate both as secondary plays. Alec Burks didn’t see his minutes impacted by Russell coming back and looks like he will continue to be a viable DFS option on this team. Finally, Glenn Robinson is playing good basketball and makes sense as a GPP option.
5-star play: D’Angelo Russell
4-star play: Jonas Valanciunas, Eric Paschall, Draymond Green, Alec Burks
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Jae Crowder, Jaren Jackson, Glenn Robinson
