Full Court Press:

Washington Wizards @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Wizards, Bradley Beal is the guy you want on this team right now, he is playing nearly 40 minutes per game and really has a pretty nice floor. He only scored 37 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season, but I like going right back to him here. With Wagner and Bryant both out for this game, Rui Hachimura, Ian Mahinmi, and Davis Bertans will get all the minutes they can handle to help slow down Blake and Drummond here. They are all very solid options. Lastly, Ish Smith makes sense again if Isaiah Thomas is to sit yet again. From the Pistons, Andre Drummond is listed as questionable here but we will assume he plays for the sake of this article. He is an elite play and probably the best raw center option on the slate given this matchup. We have finally seen Blake Griffin’s price plummet to a playable price. He is not in good form but the matchup and pace make me like him here particularly for GPP. Derrick Rose is in great form and in a pace up spot, I’ll have a good amount of him in GPP. Luke Kennard is getting good minutes this whole season and has been pretty consistent, you could do worse for cash games. Lastly, you can make a case for Christian Wood and he will directly benefit if either Blake or Drummond misses.

5-star play:  Andre Drummond, Bradley Beal

4-star play: Rui Hachimura, Davis Bertans, Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard

Deeper Value: Ian Mahinmi

GPP Sleeper: Blake Griffin, Christian Wood

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 218

Vegas Spread: Tor -12.5

Starting with the Cavaliers, Kevin Love is in pretty good form as of late but gets a tough matchup with Siakam on the other end. He’s more of a GPP option at his price tag. The same goes for Tristan Thompson who will have to deal with Marc Gasol on the other end. Both Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson are playing pretty well as of late, I don’t hate going there in GPPs either. From the Raptors, Pascal Siakam is coming off of a massive 64 Draftkings point outing, he should be able to do what he likes here. Kyle Lowry is getting right around 40 minutes per game and against a bad defense, I have no issue going with him here. Fred VanVleet is doubtful here vaulting Norman Powell into play as a solid mid-range option who should be pretty blowout proof. Marc Gasol has 39+ Draftkings points in three straight games, I don’t hate him here as a secondary option.

5-star play: Pascal Siakam

4-star play: Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, Kyle Lowry, Normal Powell, Marc Gasol

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Jordan Clarkson, Collin Sexton, Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love

Dallas Mavericks @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 227

Vegas Spread: Mil -11.0

Starting with the Mavericks, they will be without Luka Doncic which is unfortunate because this could’ve been a really fun game. With Doncic off the court, this may be the time when Kristaps Porzingis gets things going. He has a 33% usage rate and 1.52 fantasy points per minute with Doncic off the court this season, he is an elite play. In terms of who slides into the starting lineup, I would expect it to be Jalen Brunson with Tim Hardaway and Seth Curry picking up some extra shots as well. Brunson has a 23% usage rate while Hardaway has a 25% usage rate with Doncic off the court. Of the two I would much prefer Hardaway and Brunson as safer options. From the Bucks, it’s hard to project Giannis Antetokounmpo right now simply because he’s not getting a full allotment of minutes due to blowing literally everybody out. That said, with Eric Bledsoe off the court, Giannis has a 40% usage rate and 1.96 fantasy points per minute, he’s an elite play. George Hill will likely continue to start but I think Donte DiVincenzo is the guy you want here. He’s coming off of a 33 point Draftkings outing and has 1.02 fantasy points per minute with Bledsoe off the court. Khris Middleton is also a solid secondary option in all formats, while Brook Lopez is more of a GPP option.

5-star play: Kristaps Porzingis, Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play: Jalen Brunson, Tim Hardaway, Donte DiVincenzo, Khris Middleton

Deeper Value: Seth Curry, George Hill

GPP Sleeper: Brook Lopez

San Antonio Spurs @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total: 232

Vegas Spread: Hou -10.0

Starting with the Spurs, this is a big pace up game for them and one of the higher implied totals on the slate. DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge are both very solid options here. Dejounte Murray supposedly has his minute’s restriction lifted which makes me love him, I don’t mind that he’s a bit priced up especially in this matchup. Rudy Gay makes sense as a secondary option as well. From the Rockets, James Harden is very expensive, as he probably should be. I will not talk you off of playing him if you want, it will depend on how much value opens up as we get closer to lock. For now, he’s an elite raw point play. Russell Westbrook is in good form and the Spurs have struggled all season with opposing point guards, I like him a good deal here and scored 55 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season. Clint Capela destroyed in this matchup with 58 Draftkings points last time these two met, I like him again here. Ben McLemore, Austin Rivers, Danuel House, and PJ Tucker are all secondary value plays.

5-star play: James Harden, Russell Westbrook, DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge

4-star play: Dejounte Murray, Clint Capela

Deeper Value: PJ Tucker, Danuel House

GPP Sleeper: Rudy Gay, Austin Rivers, Ben McLemore

Chicago Bulls @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 207.0

Vegas Spread: OKC -6.0

Starting with the Bulls, Zach LaVine has 43+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games and makes sense for GPPs. I don’t love this game so I won’t go crazy but he’s worth a shot. Lauri Markkanen is finally starting to play how he should, that said this is a pretty tough matchup, I’ll wait for a better one before going back to him. The same can be said for Wendell Carter, although I actually like the price on him a good deal. Kris Dunn and Tomas Satoransky are splitting time right now and I really don’t love either of them, that is a stay away spot for me. From the Thunder, Chris Paul continues to be a consistent producer ad makes a lot of sense for cash games here. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the more GPP guy as his floor is much lower than CP3’s. Steven Adams should be able to do whatever he wants down low here, I like him quite a bit as mid-range center option. Lastly, both Danilo Gallinari and Dennis Schroeder make sense as GPP guys here.

5-star play: Zach LaVine, Steven Adams, Chris Paul

4-star play: Wendell Carter, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroeder

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Lauri Markkanen, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Dennis Schroeder

Miami Heat @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Heat, this is a great spot for Jimmy Butler. The Grizzlies are playing at a pretty fast pace this season and can be reckless with the ball which helps solidify Butler’s floor that should be able to rack up a few more steals than he might otherwise have. Jonas Valanciunas plays solid defense, but Bam Adebayo is on another level right now and is just too cheap. I don’t like Kendrick Nunn’s price tag on Draftkings but I won’t talk you off of him for tournaments. From the Grizzlies, Ja Morant is in pretty good form but I would expect Jimmy Butler guards him on defense, that’s a fade for me. Both Jaren Jackson and Jonas Valanciunas are GPP plays for me as they have flashed ceiling games but really haven’t been up there consistently. Dillion Brooks is in great form as well and makes sense as a secondary play.

5-star play: Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo

4-star play: Jonas Valanciunas, Jaren Jackson, Kendrick Nunn, Dillion Brooks

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Jaren Jackson, Jonas Valanciunas

Portland Trailblazers @ Phoenix Suns

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Blazers, this is a spot that Damian Lillard should be able to take advantage of. This Suns team doesn’t play great defense so Lillard should be able to do what he likes. The same can be said for Hassan Whiteside who is smashing everyone in sight lately. He has 40+ Draftkings points in six of his last seven games, I love him here. CJ McCollum is a guy I never really get to when Lillard is active but I don’t hate him as a secondary guy here. Carmelo Anthony is a nice GPP play as he shoots a ton and is actually getting good rebound numbers while Kent Bazemore makes sense as a value option. From the Suns, Devin Booker is questionable here, for the sake of this article I’ll operate under the assumption that he’s in. If he plays I think he’s a great option but I don’t trust that hand right now, this will be a wait-and-see game for me. Ricky Rubio is playing a ton of minutes and playing very well as of late, Dame isn’t known for his defense so you can definitely get yourself some Rubio here. Kelly Oubre has 30+ Draftkings points in four of his last five games, I like him as a GPP option here, we know he has an elite ceiling. Lastly, Frank Kaminsky makes sense as a GPP option as well at the center position against Whiteside.

5-star play: Damian Lillard, Hassan Whiteside, Ricky Rubio

4-star play: CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony, Devin Booker, Kelly Oubre, Frank Kaminsky

Deeper Value: Kent Bazemore

GPP Sleeper: Carmelo Anthony, Kelly Oubre, Frank Kaminsky
