Full Court Press:

Washington Wizards @ Charlotte Hornets

Vegas Total: 230.5

Vegas Spread: WSH -2.0

Starting with Washington, Bradley Beal is priced up to where he should be finally especially for this matchup. With that being said, he’s going to have the ball in his hands a ton and could shoot 30+ times in this game. I love him in a bounceback spot, as he disappointed last game out and he’ll be under owned on a 4 game slate. Davis Bertans has been playing out of his mind lately and I like him quite a bit in an up-tempo game against the Hornets who are another team that refuses to play defense. Both Mo Wagner and Isaiah Thomas are GPP guys who could thrive in a fast game like this one but still just GPP guys at best. The guy I like here is Mo Wagner, as he has taken on a bigger role with Bryant injured, and the Hornets have struggled to defend bigs this year. Rui Hachimura is also in play here, as he should play 30+ minutes once again, especially if Wagner gets in foul trouble which he has a tendency to do. If IT2 if ruled out again, Ish Smith will also be viable again tonight as a value play.

From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham is the guy you want on this team right now as he has been Mr. Consistency. The same can be said for Terry Rozier as he is averaging over 32 FanDuel points per game on the season and the Wizards refuse to play defense as it seems every game they play in is a shootout. Miles Bridges has 28+ FanDuel points in four straight and makes sense in this price range while PJ Washington is more of a GPP option along with the rest of this team. This whole Hornets team gets a favorable matchup here, as neither team really plays defense and it should be a pretty fast paced game.

5-star plays: Bradley Beal, Devonte’ Graham

4-star plays: Terry Rozier, PJ Washington, Mo Wagner, Ish Smith, Rui Hachimura

Deeper Value: Ish Smith, Davis Bertans

GPP Sleeper: Ish Smith, Davis Bertans

Denver Nuggets @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 205

Vegas Spread: PHI -4.5

Nikola Jokic has been struggling big time in all aspects of the game, but maybe this is a matchup where he can get himself going again, as he likes these tough matchups, and if Embiid plays, he’ll get up for this type of matchup. Jamal Murray is also in play here, but he has been a little too scoring dependent for me as a PG and he could struggle against Simmons’ length. Gary Harris has been shooting the ball really well lately, and he’ll play a ton of minutes as he has been lately as they’ll need his defense here likely to matchup against Simmons. The guy I’m liking here is Will Barton as he has been playing really well lately, and his price isn’t too expensive. I like playing Paul Millsap against biggers 4s as well and it’s a solid matchup against Al Horford if Embiid plays.

From the Sixers, Joel Embiid is going to be the focal point here, as Jokic has looked fat and slow down low this year and he should be able to take full advantage. Ben Simmons is coming off a great game last time out and is a triple-double threat every time he takes the court. Tobias Harris and Al Horford are in very similar spots as well, and if I had to pick I’d lean Tobias in this one. Josh Richardson has already been ruled out for this one, which means Furkan Korkmaz will likely get the start, but James Ennis is the guy I will want from a DFS perspective.

5-star play: Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons

4-star play: Nikola Jokic, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Will Barton, Paul Millsap

Deeper Value: James Ennis, Monte Morris

GPP Sleeper: James Ennis

Atlanta Hawks @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: MIA -8.5

From the Hawks, it’s really two guys for me, Trae Young and Jabari Parker. Trae Young is finally priced where he should be at over $10k, and he has a massive usage rate. Jabari has struggled ever since going bonkers against the Bucks, I like this as a solid spot for him, but I won’t be going out of my way to roster him in what should be a little tougher matchup. Lastly, De’Andre Hunter is doubtful for this game, which gives a boost to Cam Reddish and DeAndre Bembry as Crabbe has also already been ruled out. Kevin Huerter is also a solid value play here, especially if he’ll play around 25ish minutes.

From the Heat, Jimmy Butler is going to be the premier play on the Heat, I like this matchup for him he should be able to stuff the stat sheet and even more so if Winslow sits again. He’s never more than 10% owned either and I like him a lot even as he’s always underowned. Bam Adebayo has been playing really well, and gets a nice boost against a weak Hawks interior and makes for a phenomenal play here as well.  Kelly Olynyk, Justise Winslow, Kendrick Nunn, and Tyler Herro are all in play here, especially if Dragic is out again tonight. Winslow would see the biggest boost if Dragic is out. Herro and Nunn see the biggest boosts if Dragic and Winslow are both out.

5-star play: Trae Young, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo

4-star play: Jabari Parker, Kendrick Nunn

Deeper Value: Cam Reddish, Kevin Huerter

GPP Sleeper: Kevin Huerter, Tyler Herro

New York Knicks @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: 220.5

Vegas Spread: POR -9.0

For the Knicks, I’m expecting a shakeup for their starting rotation, as Mitchell Robinson really impressed last game and showed he deserves to start. Marcus Morris has been a little bit off lately, but his price is in a playable range, although I’m not going out of my way to play him. Julius Randle continues to play big minutes but is sort of bland in them, he’s a fine option in all formats and the matchup is pretty favorable against Melo and Whiteside. RJ Barrett’s price has finally come up, I don’t hate him for GPPs but not someone that I’m seeking out. Frank Ntilikina is also a deeper GPP play as his price is still pretty cheap across all sites.

Damian Lillard is obviously your number one option from the Trailblazers, and he draws a favorable matchup against a Knicks defense that hasn’t been able to get out of its own way this year. C.J. McCollum is also squarely in play as the Knicks are really bad at defending the perimeter as well. He also plays a little with the second unit so Dame doesn’t completely take away his usage. Hassan Whiteside also is firmly in play here, as the Knicks are pretty mediocre against bigs this year. It’s just going to depend on whether or not he feels like showing up tonight, as is his calling card.

5-star play: Damian Lillard

4-star play: CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside, Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, Mitchell Robinson

Deeper Value: Frank Ntilikina, Marcus Morris

GPP Sleeper: CJ McCollum, RJ Barrett
