Full Court Press:

Washington Wizards @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Wizards, Bradley Beal leads this team with a 33% usage rate on the season but doesn’t draw a particularly great matchup with the Pacers. He’s also had back to back games with below 40 Draftkings points, I think I’ll find better spots on this slate. Thomas Bryant’s price has fallen as his minutes have been sort of all over the place, I like him more if Sabonis and Turner are out again. Rui Hachimura has 22 or fewer minutes in back to back games, I’ll wait for those minutes to come back up before I go back to him. Isaiah Thomas has a strong 27% usage rate on the season and will look to score when he’s in there, I love him for GPPs.

From the Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon continues to dominate and is averaging 48.1 Draftkings points per game this season and gets a great matchup against a Wizards team that plays very little defense. He’s priced up, but he should be, he’s a solid play on this slate. Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis are considered questionable for this game after missing last night. For the sake of this write-up I’ll assume Turner out and Sabonis in, but keep an eye on that Breaking News Feed for updates. With Turner off the court, this season Sabonis has just a 22% usage rate but is getting 1.2 fantasy points per minute. I like him here against an undersized frontcourt.  Jeremy Lamb has a nice 25% usage rate on the season and makes for a nice GPP play. Finally, TJ Warren had a massive 48 Draftking point night last night, that said I only have interest in him if at least one of those two big men sit.

5-star plays: Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis

4-star plays: Jeremy Lamb, Bradley Beal, Isaiah Thomas, Thomas Bryant, TJ Warren

Deeper Value: Goga Bitadze

GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Rui Hachimura, Isaiah Thomas

New York Knicks @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Knicks, it sounds like Elfrid Payton and Dennis Smith Jr will again miss this game which means we get a cheap option with Frank Ntilikina. However, his price has come up and he’s not a huge usage player to go along with the fact that you simply cannot trust the rotation of David Fizdale. Ntilikina played just 15 minutes last game in which we had Payton and Smith out as well. He’s a GPP value play. Julius Randle only played 27 minutes last game, but you would think he gets his usual run against a big frontcourt in the Pistons. RJ Barrett is really the only guy on this team that you can feel comfortable with from a minutes standpoint, he’s a nice play here. Marcus Morris put up another big game in his last outing, I like him here as well, but just a GPP play with all the forwards this team has to ruin his playing time.

From the Pistons, Andre Drummond continues to dominate and is now averaging 59.7 Draftkings points per game. He should be able to eat this Knicks team alive here. With Derrick Rose and Reggie Jackson still out here, Luke Kennard and Bruce Brown Jr will play big minutes and are worth a look here.

5-star play: Andre Drummond, RJ Barrett

4-star play: Luke Kennard, Bruce Brown Jr, Julius Randle, Marcus Morris

Deeper Value: Markieff Morris, Langston Galloway, Christian Wood, Kevin Knox, Frank Ntilikina

GPP Sleeper: Frank Ntilikina, Julius Randle, Marcus Morris, Mitchell Robinson, Kevin Knox

Sacramento Kings @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 218

Vegas Spread: Tor -8.5

Starting with the Kings, De’Aaron Fox has found some consistency as of late but draws a tough matchup here. That said, he has a 28% usage rate on the season and is worth a look in GPPs. Buddy Hield is very similar in that he has a huge ceiling, nice usage rate, and a pretty bad matchup. Richaun Holmes has filled in nicely for DeAndre Ayton, but Marc Gasol and Pascal Siakam will not be kind to him. Harrison Barnes has sneakily scored at least 30 Draftkings points in three straight games, he’s worth a look for cash games. Nemanja Bjelica and Bogdan Bogdanovic are worth a look for value and/or GPPs.

From the Raptors, Kyle Lowry has surpassed Pascal Siakam in terms of salary, but both are great plays here against a relatively soft defense. Fred VanVleet has scored 30+ Draftkings points in all but one game this season and makes sense for cash games at his price tag. I’m never a big Serge Ibaka or Marc Gasol fan, but you can make a case for them given their price tags. Finally, OG Anunoby continues to play well in big minutes and makes sense as a mid-range forward option.

5-star play: Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam

4-star play: De’Aaron Fox, Richaun Holmes, Nemanja Bjelica, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby

Deeper Value: Nemanja Bjelica, Bogdan Bogdanovic

GPP Sleeper: De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes, Serge Ibaka, Marc Gasol

Golden State Warriors @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Warriors, we will need to keep an eye on the D’Angelo Russell news here but it kind of feels like they are being extremely cautious with him and aren’t going to rush him back. For the sake of this article, however, I’ll operate under the assumption that he is active. If he’s in he’s a great play and should control a lot of the usage in this offense. Eric Paschall is putting up huge numbers in Draymond Green’s absence and I like him even in a tough matchup against Clint Capela. Ky Bowman is in play if Russell sits, but if he’s in a will likely stay away at an elevated price tag. Glenn Robinson III and Willie Cauley-Stein are both GPP plays while Jordan Poole and Damion Lee are value options for both cash and GPP depending on who is active for this team.

From the Rockets, it will be the James Harden and Russell Westbrook show in what I expect to be a blowout and it wouldn’t surprise me if we saw Harden get some rest hereafter Westbrook did on Monday night, but that’s just reckless speculation. Clint Capela should be able to eat this frontcourt alive and makes for a good center option here. Danuel House started for Westbrook last game and makes sense as a mid-range play and is fairly blowout proof. We finally got a decent Eric Gordon game last time out, so I’m jumping off the wagon here, he just doesn’t pass the eye test. PJ Tucker has been held under 12 Draftkings points in two straight games, hopefully this allows him to come in at lower ownership because I do like him here.

5-star play: D’Angelo Russell, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Clint Capela

4-star play: Eric Paschall, Danuel House, PJ Tucker

Deeper Value: Jordan Poole, Damion Lee

GPP Sleeper: Ky Bowman, Glenn Robinson III, Willie Cauley-Stein, Eric Gordon

Chicago Bulls @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Bulls, Lauri Markkanen draws a very good matchup against Jabari Parker and company, he is one of my favorite plays on the entire slate at a very reasonable price tag. Zach LaVine also draws a nice matchup, but if I’m picking between the two it’s Markkanen. Wendell Carter continues to play well and the Hawks rank 26th in defense against opposing centers on the season. Tomas Satoransky, Thad Young and Otto Porter make sense as some value plays here.

From the Hawks, the sites did a great job pricing Jabari Parker up after the news that John Collins will be suspended for 25 games. I don’t hate him in this matchup, but the price is a little rich for my blood especially for cash games. With Collins off the court this season, Trae Young has 1.87 fantasy points per minute and is an elite play here. De’Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish are both GPP plays in this matchup while I’ll fade DeAndre Bembry until his price comes back down.

5-star play: Lauri Markkanen, Trae Young

4-star play: Zach LaVine, Wendell Carter Jr., Jabari Parker

Deeper Value: Kevin Huerter

GPP Sleeper: Tomas Satoransky, Thad Young, Otto Porter, Cam Reddish, De’Andre Hunter

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: 225

Vegas Spread: Min -5

This is one of my favorite games on the slate as these are two of the fastest-paced teams in the league which comes as a surprise to many people who think this is the Grizzlies team of last year. We will start with the Timberwolves who will get their star back in Karl-Anthony Towns. He is simply too cheap, I’ll be playing him, end of story. Andrew Wiggins has scored 30+ Draftkings points in all but one game this season but is priced a little too high for me here. Jeff Teague is listed as questionable here, keep an eye on the news on him, if he’s out Jarrett Culver and Josh Okogie would become nice value plays with Shabazz Napier also doubtful.

From the Grizzlies, Ja Morant has now gone for at least 39 Draftkings points in three of his last four games and should thrive in this fast-paced game. He’s a great GPP play and very solid for cash games as well. I would expect Jonas Valanciunas to get at least 25 minutes here and has 1.27 fantasy points per minute on the season making him a solid play at this price tag. Jaren Jackson Jr. is expected back here and makes for a solid GPP option, but only GPP because of the foul trouble he gets in to.

5-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns

4-star play: Andrew Wiggins, Ja Morant, Jonas Valaniunas

Deeper Value: Jarrett Culver, Josh Okogie, Kyle Anderson

GPP Sleeper: Jaren Jackson Jr.

Orlando Magic @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: 207.5

Vegas Spread: Dal -7.5

Starting with the Magic, there really isn’t a lot that I like from this team this season. Nikola Vucevic has a 26% usage rate on the season and should get a decent matchup here. Aaron Gordon is similar to Andrew Wiggins in that he’s just not a guy I get too very often as it seems like he’s always overpriced. Jonathan Isaac continues to play well and makes sense as a cash game play. Markelle Fultz should continue to start and is priced nicely if you want to get exposure to this game or need a cheaper guard option.

From the Mavericks, Luka Doncic is eating the NBA alive and has gone for at least 70 Draftkings points in the past two games and is just too cheap here. Kristaps Porzingis really isn’t scoring as much as we would like at his price tag, I’ll wait for a better matchup to use him. Delon Wright and Dwight Powell make sense as secondary cash plays if you fall on them to complete your lineup.

5-star play: Luka Doncic

4-star play: Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Kristaps Porzingis, Aaron Gordon

Philadelphia 76ers @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total: 212

Vegas Spread: Utah -2.0

Starting with the 76ers, this is a very difficult matchup for the entire team as the Jazz have one of the better defenses in the league, that said the Sixers have some elite talent on their team. Joel Embiid will return from his suspension here to a difficult matchup against Rudy Gobert, I would rather find the extra money to get to KAT. Ben Simmons probably gets the best matchup of anyone in the starting five and makes sense at under $8k on Draftkings. Tobias Harris and Al Horford are both fine GPP plays but I feel like they’re price is elevated from their good performances with Embiid being out over the past two games. Josh Richardson struggled last game but is way too cheap for me and is an elite value play.

From the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell is the man in this offense and makes for a great GPP play, although I don’t know that I get here for cash games. Rudy Gobert is finally starting to prove some consistency, I don’t love the matchup for him which is why he is a GPP play at best for me. Mike Conley will be a GPP play for the near future as he has one of the lowest floors of any starting point guard that will see over 30 minutes every game. Bojan Bogdanovic continues to play very well and is one of my favorite guys in that price tag.

5-star play: Ben Simmons, Josh Richardson

4-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Joel Embiid, Rudy Gobert, Bojan Bogdanovic

Deeper Value: Josh Richardson

GPP Sleeper: Al Horford, Tobias Harris, Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert

Milwaukee Bucks @ Los Angeles Clippers

Vegas Total: 228

Vegas Spread: Lac -1.0

This is another game that I will have a lot of especially now that Kawhi has been ruled out. Starting with the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has a 32.8% usage rate on the season and is averaging 61 Draftkings points per game this season, he’s an elite play if you can afford him. Khris Middleton is Khris Middleton, he’s gonna get you 30-40 Draftkings points if you fall on him I won’t talk you off of him. Eric Bledsoe looks like he is finally starting to come around but I do wish the minutes were higher, he’s a GPP play until those minutes increase. Donte DiVincenzo is a guy that I’m keeping an eye on and has scored at least 30 Draftkings points in two of his last three games.

As noted, Kawhi Leonard will not play here because of rest, so the rest of this lineup will see a boost. With him off the court, this season Lou Williams has a 34.6% usage rate while Montrezl Harrell is at 30.2%, both are elite plays here. I love Patrick Beverley in these types of games and Eric Bledsoe has a knack of turning the ball over so there could be some extra steals for the defensive specialist. With Kawhi out of the starting lineup, I would expect to see JaMychal Green and Maurice Harkless see a boost from these bench/value guys.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell

4-star play: Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Patrick Beverley

Deeper Value: JaMychal Green, Maurice Harkless, Donte DiVincenzo

GPP Sleeper: Brook Lopez
