Full Court Press:

Milwaukee Buck @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total: 227.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -6.0

Starting with the Pacers, they lost Malcolm Brogdon last night and it’s to be determined if he will be available. If he’s out, Aaron Holiday and TJ McConnell will become two of the most popular plays on the slate, McConnell especially due to his price. Domantas Sabonis had a bit of a rough night last night but this is a nice bounce-back spot for him, although he may get some Giannis defense. TJ Warren would also see a usage bump if Brogdon were to miss, but he’s a little too volatile for me, as we saw his floor last night. From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has a 36% usage rate and 2.11 fantasy points per minute with Khris Middleton off the court this season. Averaging 64.5 Draftkings points per game, its tough not to view him as an elite play in a game with a pretty high total. Eric Bledsoe is a guy that I will have a lot of interest in, he showed he can help takeover the offense with Middleton out and dropped a 50 burger (just about) in their last game. He has 1.5 fantasy points per minute with Middleton off the court this season. Brook Lopez is a GPP as usual while guys like Wesley Matthews, George Hill, and Donte DiVincenzo are solid value plays in replacement of Middleton.

5-star plays: Malcolm Brogdon (If active), Domantas Sabonis, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Eric Bledsoe, TJ McConnell (If Brogdon is Out)

4-star plays: TJ Warren, Brook Lopez

Deeper Value: Wesley Matthews, George Hill, Donte DiVincenzo

GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Brook Lopez

Charlotte Hornets @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: 213.5

Vegas Spread: NYK -4.0

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham continues to play well and has now been moved to the starting lineup which will solidify 30+ minutes per game going forward, he’s a great play against a bad defensive team. Terry Rozier has been Mr. Consistency outside of a few really bad duds, he has a 26% usage rate on the season and is a solid play although I think he gets Ntilikina on defense who is a great defender. Miles Bridges is never really a guy that I get to because I don’t see the ceiling with him, but he makes sense for cash games. Cody Zeller and PJ Washington are both solid options at their price, I would prefer Zeller for cash and Washington for GPPs. From the Knicks, RJ Barrett has been held under 20 Draftkings points in three of his last four games and has a bit of a hip issue, but he’s probable nonetheless, he’s risky but this is a great matchup against a Hornets team that has no interest in playing defense. Julius Randle and Marcus Morris are owning the frontcourt minutes for this team and playing great basketball. Lastly, Dennis Smith Jr. was thrown into 30 minutes last game, if he gets that kind of playing time again I’ll be all over him, however, we can’t guarantee that with Fizdale running the show.

5-star play: Devonte’ Graham, Julius Randle, Marcus Morris

4-star play: Terry Rozier, Cody Zeller, Dennis Smith Jr, Miles Bridges

Deeper Value: Kevin Knox

GPP Sleeper: Bobby Portis, Kevin Knox, Dennis Smith Jr, PJ Washington

Houston Rockets @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total: N/A

Vegas Spread: N/A

I’ll start by addressing the potentially massive total we will see here. We don’t have an implied total quite yet because of the unknowns of Andrew Wiggins who was away from the team last night due to a death in the family. However, this game will be a complete shootout with very little defense played on both sides, we want to get to some pieces in this game. Starting with the Rockets, Russell Westbrook and Clint Capela have already been ruled out for this one, so you know what that means. James Harden has a 48% usage rate with them off the court along with Eric Gordon and Danuel House. Harden is probably just a guy I’ll lock in here and move on, he’s scored at least 70 Draftkings points in five of his last six games. We can expect PJ Tucker, Ben McLemore, and Austin Rivers to play all the minutes they can handle in this one and make sense as value options. From the Timberwolves, if Wiggins is out I’m going to do what I can to pair Harden with Karl-Anthony Towns but that is unknown, keep an eye on the Breaking News Tab before lock. Jeff Teague saw his minutes back up near where they usually are last night and his price went down, he’s an elite play no matter the availability of Wiggins.

***The below plays are strictly based upon Wiggins being questionable right now, I can’t stress enough using the Breaking News Tab and jumping into Slack once we find out the status of him. It will open up a ton of value if he’s out and will shrink a lot of it if he’s in. ***

5-star play: James Harden, PJ Tucker, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jeff Teague

4-star play: Ben McLemore, Austin Rivers, Robert Covington

Deeper Value: Ben McLemore, Austin Rivers

GPP Sleeper: Robert Covington

New Orleans Pelicans @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Pelicans, we are waiting on a BUNCH of news here, so this may be a broad overview, but there’s no sense into digging very deep until we know the status of these guys. Brandon Ingram is probable after missing last game and will be a very solid play here especially if Lonzo is out while Hart is still out. I’ll operate under the assumption that Ingram is in and has a 30% usage rate with Hart and Lonzo off the court. Jrue Holiday continues to be very consistent and should get all the minutes he can handle if Ball is still out. That said, he got a massive price bump after putting up 63 Draftkings points last game. I would think that Kenrich Williams and JJ Redick continue to start here and are elite plays considering their current prices, however, Redick is questionable here and is yet another guy to keep an eye on. From the Heat, Jimmy Butler is playing near 40 minutes per game and gets a pace up spot, not much to dislike with him here. Bam Adebayo has been great all season long and has been a very consistent part of this team, I like him quite a bit here. Justise Winslow remains out here which will give a bump to Kendrick Nunn and Goran Dragic. With Winslow off the court this season, Nunn actually has a 28% usage rate and gets a terrible Pelicans defense.

5-star play:  Brandon Ingram, Jrue Holiday, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo

4-star play: Kenrich Williams, JJ Redick, Kendrick Nunn, Goran Dragic, Derrick Favors

Deeper Value: Tyler Herro

GPP Sleeper: Goran Dragic, Tyler Herro

Portland Trailblazers @ San Antonio Spurs

Vegas Total: 226.5

Vegas Spread: SA -1.5

Starting with the Blazers, Damian Lillard had a down game last time out but is playing 38 minutes per game on the season with a 30% usage rate, tough to not like him here. I’m never really a huge CJ McCollum guy but he’s scored at least 33 Draftkings points per game in three straight games, more of a GPP play than anything really. Hassan Whiteside has had two stinkers in a row and only put up 17 Draftkings points against the Spurs earlier this season, I’ll look elsewhere. From the Spurs, both DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge draw great matchups and have both been pretty consistent as of late, I like them both for cash games. Dejounte Murray is still seeing his minutes limited to under 25 and has seen his efficiency go down as well, no longer scoring 1.5 fantasy points per minute like he was earlier in the season. I’ll wait for his minutes to come up on him.

5-star play: Damian Lillard, DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge

4-star play: Dejounte Murray, Rudy Gay, CJ McCollum, Rodney Hood

Deeper Value: Bryn Forbes, Patty Mills

GPP Sleeper: Dejounte Murray, Patty Mills, CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside

Toronto Raptors @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: 219

Vegas Spread: Dal -3.5

Starting with the Raptors, Pascal Siakam has scored 50+ Draftkings points in four of his past five games and is just getting all the minutes and usage he can with Ibaka and Lowry both out, he’s an elite play here. The same can be said for Fred VanVleet who is getting just about 40 minutes per game now with these guys out and doing just what he should with those minutes… producing. Marc Gasol has seen his minutes solidified as well, I haven’t really been on him since coming to the Raptors but I don’t hate him here while he is getting consistent minutes. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has produced well over his past three games with Ibaka out and should continue that here, I would expect him to be around 25 minutes. OG Anunoby is expected to play here which may cut into his minutes a bit, but I’m not sure if OG will be limited at all or not. From the Mavs, it’s the Luka Doncic show as 50+ Draftkings points in four straight games and 70+ in two of those. With a 35.5% usage rate on the season, he’s a great play here. Kristaps Porzingis draws a tough matchup here against Siakam and Gasol, I’ll probably wait for a better spot to play him. Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber make sense as GPP value pieces if you need them.

5-star play: Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Luka Doncic

4-star play: Marc Gasol, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Kristaps Porzigis

Deeper Value: Maxi Kleber

GPP Sleeper: Kristaps Porzingis, Dwight Powell

Atlanta Hawks @ Los Angeles Clippers

Vegas Total: 228

Vegas Spread: Lac -12.5

Starting with the Hawks, Trae Young has scored 60+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games. He does get a difficult matchup here with a great defensive team in the Clippers but I still think you can go with him in GPPs. Jabari Parker continues to play well and is actually showing some consistency for the first time in his career, this is a difficult matchup for him as well but I don’t mind it for GPPs. The rest of this team is a wash for me, not really anyone that I’m interested in against this tough Clippers team. From the Clippers, we saw Paul George make his team debut and played 24 minutes on his way to nearly 50 Draftkings points. It was good to see the production even with Kawhi off the court. I would expect he’s still on a minute restriction here, but with Kawhi questionable he could become a nice play if he ends up sitting. As I mentioned Kawhi Leonard is questionable so we will need to keep an eye on that, he’s a great play if he plays against a Hawks team that doesn’t care about playing defense, or at least seems that way. If Kawhi misses, Lou Williams sees a 34.7% usage rate and would become an elite play here. Montrezl Harrell will also see a usage bump if he sits as well and would be able to take control of a weak Hawks frontcourt.

5-star play: Trae Young, Kawhi Leonard, Lou Williams (If Kawhi sits)

4-star play: Paul George, Montrezl Harrell, Jabari Parker

Deeper Value: Mo Harkless (If Kawhi sits)

GPP Sleeper: Paul George, Jabari Parker
