Full Court Press:
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Detroit Pistons
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns bounced back nicely with a 60 point Draftkings night last night. Andrew Wiggins is playing great basketball this season and is an elite play in all formats if Jeff Teague ends up sitting again and still a fine play if he’s in. Finally, Robert Covington is a good secondary play as well. From the Pistons, Andre Drummond is the man and is averaging 55.8 Draftkings points per game this season and KAT defense really doesn’t scare me. The big news with this team is that Blake Griffin is expected back, so we may need to take this game as a wait and see type of game to see how this offense will run. I would expect Griffin to have some sort of minutes limit, at his price you can’t go there. Derrick Rose practiced on Sunday which makes me think he’ll return for this one. I love him coming off the bench with his 34% usage rate, but again may be on a minutes limit.
5-star plays: Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins (If Teague is out), Andre Drummond
4-star plays: Derrick Rose, Jeff Teague, Robert Covington
Deeper Value: Jake Layman
GPP Sleeper: Derrick Rose
Dallas Mavericks @ Boston Celtics
Vegas Total: 218
Vegas Spread: Bos -3.5
Starting with the Mavs, Luka Doncic continues to play out of his mind and is an elite play here even over $10k now. I would expect Kristaps Porzingis to be back in this one, Boston is 26th in the league in defense against opposing power forwards. Both Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber are priced fairly similar, of the two I would prefer Powell. From the Celtics, Kemba Walker continues to play well and has nearly a 29% usage rate on the season. The big news with the Celtics is that Gordon Hayward will be out for an extended period of time with an injury that should open up minutes and usage among the wings. Jason Tatum has a 33.8% usage rate with Hayward off the court this season making him an elite play. Jaylen Brown has just about a fantasy point per minute with Hayward off the court as well and makes sense here. Marcus Smart’s minutes become more solidified as well.
5-star play: Luka Doncic, Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum
4-star play: Kristaps Porzingis, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Maxi Kleber, Dwight Powell

Memphis Grizzlies @ San Antonio Spurs
Vegas Total: 226.5
Vegas Spread: Sa -11.5
This is one of the higher totals on the slate, so we will look to get some exposure in this one. Starting with the Grizzlies, I would expect that Ja Morant is back here after being rested on Saturday. He has a 31% usage rate on the season and makes sense here, although I wish he was a little cheaper. Jonas Valanciunas should see 25+ minutes here and is an elite per-minute producer at 1.21 this season. Both Jaren Jackson and Jae Crowder are solid plays as well, keep an eye on Bradon Clarke’s availability in this one, if he sits both Jackson and Crowder see a boost. From the Spurs, Dejounte Murray’s minutes are being monitored but is at an elite 1.5 fantasy points per minute this season, I like him here. Both LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan draw great matchups and are elite plays in this game. Bryn Forbes, Derrick White, and Patty Mills all make sense for GPPs or value options.
5-star play: LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan
4-star play: Ja Morant, Jonas Valanciunas, Jaren Jackson Jr., Jae Crowder
Deeper Value: Bryn Forbes, Derrick White, and Patty Mills
GPP Sleeper: Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Derrick White
Houston Rockets @ New Orleans Pelicans
Vegas Total: 242.5
Vegas Spread: Hou -4.5
This game has one of the higher totals we have seen all season and is one that we can confidently game stack and get exposure to. Starting with the rockets, it is the James Harden show right now and has scored at least 70 Draftkings points in three straight games. He has an elite 39% usage rate on the season and is a great play here. Russell Westbrook had a bit of a dud game last time out but the Pelicans are dead last in defense against opposing point guards on the season, I love him here. Clint Capela has two straight 50 point Draftkings games, tough not to like him here. Both Danuel House and PJ Tucker are very solid plays as well in such a high-paced game. Eric Gordon has just not been playing good, he’s going to be a fade for me until further notice. From the Pelicans, Lonzo Ball will be out for this game as well which will give a usage boost to Brandon Ingram and Jrue Holiday who are both elite plays here. With Lonzo out, I like Josh Hart in the second unit and helps solidify his minutes. JJ Redick entered the starting lineup with Lonzo out last game, if he starts again I like him a good deal. The same goes for Kenrich Williams who was a surprise start last time out as well.
5-star play: James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Brandon Ingram, Jrue Holiday
4-star play: Clint Capela, JJ Redick, Kenrich Williams, Danuel House, PJ Tucker
Deeper Value: Kenrich Williams
GPP Sleeper: Josh Hart, JJ Redick
Toronto Raptors @ Los Angeles Clippers
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
The Raptors come into this game pretty banged up after losing Serge Ibaka and Kyle Lowry to injury. With those two off the court, it is going to be the Pascal Siakam who saw his price dip after going for 64 Draftkings points yesterday. With those two off the court this season he has a 33% usage rate and 1.5 fantasy points per minute. Fred VanVleet has 1.45 fantasy points per minute with those two off the court this season and his price is too cheap for that type of production. OG Anunoby continues to play well and will have to shoulder more of the load, he now has back to back 40 point Draftkings outings and may get the assignment of guarding Kawhi Leonard on the other end. Marc Gasol just doesn’t produce enough for me to like him here. Lastly, Norman Powell will likely see his minutes extended with Lowry injured and makes sense as a value option. From the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard has a massive 39% usage rate on the season and has at least 50 Draftkings points in his last five games. Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell both make sense as GPP plays and secondary cash plays. Patrick Beverley is starting to get to the price where I don’t think I’ll be able to get there.
5-star play: Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Kawhi Leonard
4-star play: OG Anunoby, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Norman Powell
Deeper Value: Norman Powell
GPP Sleeper: Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell

Utah Jazz @ Golden State Warriors
Vegas Total: 213
Vegas Spread: Utah -10
Starting with the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell is a great play here as the Warriors play exactly zero defense and he should be able to do whatever he pleases. Rudy Gobert is one of my least favorite DFS players there is, but in this matchup, you could talk me into him. Mike Conley has been a bit all over the place, but I tend to think he’s a solid GPP play here. Bojan Bogdanovic continues to put up big numbers and should get plenty of shot attempts in this one. From the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell is their offense. He now has at least 48 Draftkings points in three straight games. Both Draymond Green and Eric Paschall are questionable here, I expect Green to sit and Paschall to play but regardless they get a very difficult matchup against Rudy Gobert. Glenn Robinson III continues to play big minutes and makes sense as a GPP play. Alec Burks has at least 30 Draftkings points in three straight games and I would expect him to get solid run here. Willie Cauley-Stein’s minutes have gotten increasingly higher but this matchup is too tough for me to want to go with him.
5-star play: Donovan Mitchell, D’Angelo Russell
4-star play: Bojan Bogdanovic, Mike Conley, Rudy Gobert, Alec Burks
Deeper Value: Damion Lee
GPP Sleeper: Glenn Robinson III, Willie Cauley-Stein, Eric Pascall
