Race Info

The final race of the 2019 Truck Series is upon us. It will take place from Homestead-Miami Speedway. With this being the Championship final most of the attention will be on four drivers. Brett Moffitt, Matt Crafton, Stewart Friesen and Ross Chastain will be battling it out for the title. Outside of that we have a large entry list with numerous quality trucks added. As for the track itself, Homestead has one of the best surfaces on in the sport. Trucks can run from the bottom lane all the way to the wall. We also see tons of tire fall off which leads to great racing. Long run speed is important. The last two races here have failed to produce a natural caution. This means we saw three long runs only separated by the stage breaks. Be sure to utilize the research station for all practice speed and race history stats.

There are 37 trucks on the entry list meaning FIVE trucks will fail to qualify for the race.

The DFS Army destroyed DFS in October with double digits 1st place wins $5,000+. This is simply down to the unbelievable content provided by our top flight coaches and research tools. Lineup Building

Dominator/Top Plays

For this race we will look for 1 to 2 dominators. This race has been won by the pole sitter in 3 of the last 4 years making that a great place to start. In the last 6 races here the pole sitter has led a minimum of 31 laps and has been a massive dominator in 4 of the races. Of course being the championship final we would expect the trucks who have been great all year to be at the front. Moffitt who won this race last year has to be a big time favorite. Friesen is great on this track type as well. Chastain has outdriven everyone most of the year. Lastly, Crafton who hasn’t won this year but comes in with a massive experience advantage and won here in 2015 leading 93 laps.

The DFS Army members are crushing every sport due to our awesome coaches, Domination Station and Research Station. If you aren’t a member yet now is the time to join!! Mid Tier/Low Tier

This area is absolutely stacked this week. Numerous teams have brought additional truck to the track and we also see a couple one offs as well. This area is going to be about maximizing the place differential and finishing position of upside of these drivers. Couple notables include Parker Kligerman back with the #75 and Christian Eckes is back in the #51. Qualifying will be important to figuring out who the best plays are.

Punts

With a history of few cautions and very few DNFs this group is borderline untouchable. There are a couple of mispriced drivers below $7,000 that can be utilized for sure though so it will be important to identify who these drivers are. Traditional punts like Cobb and whoever is driving the #33 and #34 can be ignored.

I will also answer any questions you may have in the VIP Slack!
