Starting XI Breakdown
Everton (+150) @ Brighton (+190)
Draw (+225) | Total: Over 2.5 (-110)
Brighton has been somewhat of a surprise this year under their new manager. They play fast and refuse to back down. Everton was a team that many expected to challenge the top 6 but instead they are fighting to remain above the relegation zone. Despite the dichotomy, this is a fairly even match and I expect both teams to score. Neither team is really known for their defense.
BHA 5-Star Plays: None.
BHA 4-Star Plays: Gross (cash)
GPP Note:
EVE 5-Star Plays: None.
EVE 4-Star Plays: Digne (DK)
GPP Note: I’m looking at Bernard as a one-off.
Bournemouth (+225) @ Watford (+115)
Draw (+260) | Total: Over 2.5 (-138)
Bournemouth will be fairly chalky but this is a spot where we can target Watford players. Bournemouth is not a defensive team and Watford has actually been playing fairly well at home over the past few matches. The moneyline tells you what you need to know.
WAT 5-Star Plays: None.
WAT 4-Star Plays: Holebas (DK cash), Deulofeu
GPP Note: Watford should be low-owned. I will be looking into stacks here.
BOU 5-Star Plays: Callum Wilson (Cash)
BOU 4-Star Plays: None.
GPP Note: I am in for a one-off in gpp but I will be underweight on stacking to leverage the slate
Sheffield United (+250) @ West Ham (+110)
Draw (+250) | Total: Over 2.5 (-110)
Sheffield is one of the better defenses in the league. They have conceded the joint-least goals. West Ham has been exciting this year but this may be a tall task. They are starting to slip, giving up 2 goals to Everton and Crystal Palace. This is not a good sign and Sheffield should be able to take advantage
SHU 5-Star Plays: None
SHU 4-Star Plays: John Egan (FD), Lys Mousset
GPP Note: I am in on shares of Dean Henderson, too.
WHU 5-star Plays: Manuel Lanzini (DK)
WHU 4-Star Plays: Aaron Cresswell (DK)
GPP Note: I like West Ham more on the road so I won’t get too deep into them. Haller is worth a share or two.
Chelsea (-138) @ Burnley (+333)
Draw (+300) | Total: Over 2.5 (-150)
Burnley is a tough cookie to break down at home. Chelsea will bring the pressure and Burnley will soak it up like a greasy burger soaks up the hangover after you tied one on the night before. Chelsea is the obvious chalk and, while a one-off is warranted, I would caution against getting into them too deep. Think Chelsea v Newcastle last week.
BUR 5-Star Plays: Ben Mee (FD cash)
BUR 4-Star Plays: James Tarkowski (GPP)
GPP Note: Chris Wood is potentially out with a hammy. Jay Rodriguez is a decent shout in relief.
CHE 5-Star Plays: Mason Mount
CHE 4-Star Plays: Tammy Abraham
