Starting XI Breakdown

Everton (+177) @ Burnley (+154)
Draw (+216) | Total: Over 2.25 (-120)

Low total game but still some interesting targets for cash games, especially on DraftKings, even if I prefer the road team as an underdog. Lucas Digne will check in as one of the top floor plays on the slate even if his price is getting really high. Richarlison is my favorite GPP target on the Everton side while Dwight McNeil is the cash play on the Burnley side (especially if Gudmundsson sits again). You can take some shots on the Burnely forwards in GPP but it’s not my style…Barnes would be the play if you want to go that route.

EVE 5-Star Plays: Digne (DK)
EVE 4-Star Plays: Richarlisson (GPP)
GPP Note: In play even if on the road, you can mix in their forward (Calvert-Lewin or Kean) as well

BUR 5-Star Plays: McNeil (DK)
BUR
 4-Star Plays: None.
GPP Note: I never like targeting Burnley a ton, their offense is kinda dull.

Leicester (+536) @ Liverpool (-227)
Draw (+354) | Total: Over 3 (-108)

Liverpool check in as the largest favorite on the slate but they aren’t a side I’m going to break my lineups to jam in. They also played on Wednesday so we could get some funky lineups in this one. Mo Salah will be one of the top dogs if he plays and Trent Alexander-Arnold or James Milner will be a 5-star cash play if one or the other starts. I don’t want much Leicester but if James Maddison sits again than Marc Albrighton becomes of the best value plays on the entire slate.

LIV 5-Star Plays: Salah, Alexander-Arnold, Milner
LIV 4-Star Plays: Mane (GPP)
GPP Note: Like them for GPPs but they will be chalky so I don’t mind pivoting around a bunch as Leicester is a decent side.

LEI 5-Star Plays: Albrighton (if Maddison sits)
LEI 4-Star Plays: None.
GPP Note: On the road as a big dog? Pass.

Aston Villa (+181) @ Norwich (+127)
Draw (+264) | Total: Over 3 (-121)

Evenly matched game with a high total and two teams that like to play in open space. This one should be very fantasy friendly. Most people are high on Norwich and Emiliano Buendia is a cash stud in this one along with the high upside of Teemu Pukki in GPP. I actually think that Aston Villa is the better overall team and love either John McGinn and Jack Grealish in cash paired with Wesley in GPPs. Hopefully the ownership on this one stays controlled outside of the two primary guys on Norwich.

AVL 5-Star Plays: McGinn
AVL 4-Star Plays: Grealish, Wesley (GPP)
GPP Note: Even if this game picks up ownership, I think it’s much more likely on the Norwich side

NOR 5-star Plays: Buendia
NOR 4-Star Plays: Pukki (downgrade from 5-star because of ownership)
GPP Note: Get your Buendia/Pukki teams in but beware of ownership

Sheffield United (+237) @ Watford (+110)
Draw (+233) | Total: Over 2.5 (-109)

This is interesting because a week ago we were all trashing Watford, they lost 2-0 and now they are favored here. I know Sheffield is a bottom feeder as well but this line doesn’t make sense to me, Watford is that bad. The only ones I have interest in for the Hornets are Gerard Deulofeu to fill a forward spot (meh), Jose Holebas at defense (meh on this slate), and Etienne Capoue as a value guy (okay with that). This line tells us to play Watford but my eyes won’t let me do it. On the other side, I fancy Olivier Norwood on DK and whatever forwards draw the start.

WAT 5-Star Plays: None.
WAT 4-Star Plays: Capoue (value)
GPP Note: Not for me, this is the spot I’m worried about being burned but I disagree with the line.

SHU 5-Star Plays: None.
SHU 4-Star Plays: Norwood (DK), Robinson (value Forward), McBurnie (GPP)
GPP Note: This is my team to look at it when searching for contrarian goals on Saturday.

Crystal Palace (+271) @ West Ham (-106)
Draw (+250) | Total: Over 2.5 (-123)

Shit. I wish this game wasn’t the hammer match as I really want to play West Ham but not doing the lineup will make me uncomfortable. Still, I’ll make some educated assumptions on the lineup and leave myself wiggle room with late swap pivots. Manuel Lanzini will be a core play assuming he starts, but he hasn’t started in two weeks after an injury though he did play as a sub last week. Sebastien Haller is my boy for GPPs again this week and Aaron Cresswell is on a tear that can’t be ignored. Even as the underdog I don’t mind Milivojevic for Crystal Palace as West Ham doesn’t play a ton of defense, which also makes the forwards viable one-off GPP plays.

CRY 5-Star Plays: None.
CRY 4-Star Plays: Milivojevic
GPP Note: I’d much rather West Ham but you can stack this game with a forward on each side.

WHU 5-Star Plays: Lanzini, Haller (GPP)
WHU 4-Star Plays: Anderson, Cresswell (GPP)
GPP Note: Yep, this is a week I will be heavy on the hammer match in GPP, let’s go West Ham!
