NFL DFS Draft Format
Draft’s primary focus in on the tradition snake drafting format you’re used to from your season long fantasy conquests. Ina stark difference from Fanduel, Draft Kings, and Fantasy Draft, there are no salaries to worry about. Here we are putting together the best team we can every slate, week in and week out. This format uses five (5) total players
- Quarterback
- 2x Running Backs
- 2x Wide Receiver/Tight End
That’s it! no team restrictions. If you’re unfamiliar with snake drafting, here’s the catch. If you pick fist for example in a 6 man snake draft you get the first pick and then the twelfth pick. SO what do you do? Get that stud quarterback first and then the 5-6th best receiver or running back? NFL Scoring on Draft
Draft has the same scoring system as Fanduel for their core point system. The only difference is Fanduel, like DraftKings, offers additional bonuses for metrics like Field Goals, Extra Point Conversions, and fumble recovery touchdowns. Draftkings however has a full PPR (plus many, many bonus points) in comparison. For this reason your Fanduel research can easily be adopted to Draft. Here are the point breakdowns:
Draft Contests & the Ladder system
The great thing about draft is that you can construct any type of ladder system you want with their structure. 2 player – 10 player contests already exist in the lobby at different dollar limits. You can also create contests with the same amount of people at any dollar amount from $0 – $1,000 entries giving you a wide birth to manage your bankroll as you choose. Here’s an example of playing $10 a slate:
- H2H: $5
- 3-Man: $2
- 10-Man: $1
- 6-Man: $1
- GPP: $1
Other Formats
Dream Team contests: Just like it sounds, you put together your 5 man dream team. No drafting and no restrictions. Think of it like pick-em on Draft Kings without the tiers. Dream Team formats let you control your destiny so to speak and put your best foot forward by picking your five favorite starters for the night. In the main lobby, you’ll mostly fine 56 and 111 man contests (think mini GPPs) that are all single entry.
Blind Auction Drafts: You get a salary of $100 and players are nominated to be bid on. Highest bid wins the player. Therefore, Team format remains the same(QB, 2x RB, 2x WR/TE) but just throws another variant in on the type of DFS games you can play.
