In the list below the MLB Top Stacks, I will also list my Top5 at each position to give you more ideas on how to construct stacks today.

I use this sheet daily to help me identify top stacks on each slate
I’ve included the RAW number to show you the number that is being Ranked. This is the resulting number from my formula each day and should help illustrate exactly how much separation there is from team to team on the list. Some days there are very clear teams ranked in the Top 1 or 2. Other days they are grouped much tighter.
I’ve added a new Leverage Column, which is simply the Projection (minus) the Ownership. In theory, this should help us see who we can target at lower ownership and gain leverage on the field.

NOTE – Coors Field
Rockies vs Pirates – The Pirates have the better matchup on paper in Coors today vs Tim Melville, so if I want to get exposure to Coors I’ll start on the Pirates side. He’s got a small sample but he’s been worse to lefties than he has been to righties.
The Rockies have a tougher matchup against Joe Musgrove, but I think they could get to him today. Against lefties, Musgrove gives up a 334/222 woba/iso with a 38% hard contact rate. So, Blackmon, Murphy, McMahon could be in play here for sure.
For me, in Tourneys, as always, I’ll be underweight vs the field to Coors Field. I know it’s the best hitters park but for me the high Onwership always leads me to be under the field with my lineups.
Rangers
- Texas gets a juicy matchup today against lefty Tommy Milone from the Mariners. Milone is a reverse splits lefty, which means he is actually worse against left-handed batters, not better against them like you would expect. Against lefties this season, he has allowed a 375/330 woba/iso and a 39% hard contact rate. Against righties, he’s not as bad but he does allow some big-time power surrendering a 242 iso, 42% fly ball rate and 37% hard contact rate. He’s got a solid K rate of 26.7% against lefties but only 18.5% against righties. That being said I’m all over the Rangers tonight in this matchup in an ELITE hitters ballpark.
Braves
- Reynaldo Lopez has shown flashes of being good this year, but, overall he enters tonight’s contest with a 5.35 xFIP. Against lefties, he allows a 365/197 woba/iso with a 45% fly-ball rate and 35% hard contact rate with only an 18.4% strikeout rate. Against righties he’s equally bad, allowing a 326/208 woba/iso with a 42% fly-ball rate and 36% hard contact rate. For me, the entire Braves lineup is in play here tonight except for Ortega and Hamilton at the bottom of the order (low upside on both of them).

Red Sox
- Dillon Peters has been roughed up this year and enters tonight’s game with a 5.17 xFIP. Against lefties he gives up a 353/213 woba/iso with a 37% fly-ball rate and a 54% hard contact rate. Against righties he’s been even worse, giving up a 385/281 woba/iso with a 36% fly ball rate and 39% hard contact rate. The Red Sox will likely be lower owned, because of the bats in Coors and their price. I LOVE THAT and I’ll have plenty of exposure to them tonight in this matchup!!!
Leverage Stacks (good projection + lower ownership)
Padres
- Bad park, Bad team overall and very low ownership. This is a GPP dart throw that you’re pairing with some of the better, more expensive stacks above. Logan Webb has a small sample size this year but he’s been really bad against right-handed hitters. He’s allowed a 420/368 woba/iso with a 60% hard contact rate to righties. The Padres have a few righties with plenty of power offer tonight.

Batter Rankings 08/31
These rankings are not site-specific and are intended to give you a solid pool of players to build your lineups from. I’m going to use the standard positions, Catcher through Outfield in these rankings so be aware of that if you’re constructing teams on Draftkings where some players can play multiple positions.
I will use the 😍 ADORE feature in the MLB Domination Station to increase the projection of each of these players by 15%. Doing this will allow me to get MORE of them throughout all of my lineups.
