MLB Top Stacks for Fanduel and Draftkings July 12th

Welcome back, everyone! This MLB Top Stacks article will be a daily Article here at DFS Army, where I will do my best to highlight my favorite stacks of each day for Fanduel and Draftkings. Below my favorite stacks, I will also list my Top5 at each position on each site to give you more ideas of how to construct stacks today.

If you have any questions hit me up in the DFS Army VIP chat shoot me a DM @CeeGee and we can chat one-on-one about your process.

I appreciate you taking time out of your day to check out the article 🤟❤💯

I use this sheet daily to help me identify top stacks on each slate

Yankees

  • LeMahieu, Judge, Hicks, Sanchez, Encarnacion

This 1-5 stack is my Top Stack of the Night but I like the Yankees bottom of the order stack as well with Torres, Gregorius, Torres, Urshela and Gardner. You can stack this team up and down any way you like today, just try to keep your hitters relatively close to each other, preferably not more than 1 spot apart if possible.

Aaron Sanchez is in a real bad spot here against a great Yankees lineup in Yankee stadium tonight. Sanchez allows a 357/170 woba/iso to left-handed hitters and a 386/153 woba/iso to right-handed hitters on the year. He gives up around 37% hard contact to hitters from both sides of the plate and he has a low K% (20.6/14.9 vs L/R) and high BB% (11.7/14.4 vs L/R) to both sides of the plate (not a good combination to have).

Brewers

  • Cain, Yelich, Grandal, Moustakas, Thames

Shaun Anderson is a “pitch to contact” right-handed pitcher, and that strategy should not bode well for him this evening vs the Brewers. Anderson has a 8.3% K rate to lefties and just a 17.6% K rate to righties on the year. He gives up 42% hard contact to lefties and a 39% hard contact to righties. His woba allowed numbers are right in line with league average, 331 to left and 321 to right but we’ll see those numbers go up after tonight’s beat down at the hands of the Brew Crew.

The MLB Research Staion is my #1 source for research every single day and is one of the VIP Only tools our members have access to daily. Everything from wOBA and ISO vs the Handedness of today’s starting pitcher, to Average Exit Velocity this tool will cut your daily research time in half. If you’re familiar with Myself and Ben you already know the time we’ve put into the “Sheets” and we’re extremely happy to bring them over here to the DFS Army!

MLB Top Stacks DFS Fanduel Draftkings

Angels

  • Calhoun, Ohtani, Upton, Pujols, Trout

Mike Leake an average right-hander with some very below over “stuff”. He only strikes out 19% of left-handed hitters and strikes out even fewer right-handed hitters 14.7%. Since he doesn’t miss bats very frequently he gives up a 343/206 woba/iso to lefties and a 334/234 woba/iso to righties on the year. He allows a 40% hard-hit rate to both lefties and righties equally. His most popular pitch is his Sinker which gets dealt with fairly easily by hitters from both sides of the plate as Leake allows a 517 xwoba to left and a 647 xwoba to right-handed hitters on the pitch. Load up on the Angesl tonight!

Dodgers

  • Turner, Freese, Bellinger, Pollock, Hernandez

I love to target Eduardo Rodriguez simply because of his potential to blow up from time to time. He’s not a bad pitcher and he has really good “stuff” striking out around 25% of hitters on both sides of the plate. He gives up big numbers to lefties allowing a 378/270 woba/iso and a 35% hard contact rate. The Dodgers have plenty of lefties they can throw at him tonight that can do some damage here in Fenway. Rodriguez is solid against right-handed batters, but I’ll still use some of these cheaper right-handed Dodgers tonight against him to complete my Dodger stacks!

NOTES

Obviously, we can stack Coors if we’d like to tonight. Both the Rockies and the Reds are solid stack options but I generally try and avoid Coors in my write-ups unless they completely jump off the page.

Pro Tip – If there is a game in Coors go ahead and stack it up, you don’t wait for me to tell you yah or nah on that one 🤟❤💯

Are you ready to Dominate?

With additional features that allow you to Like, Love or Dislike a player, you can create a fully unique pool of players to generate your lineups from every day. Batter Rankings 07/12

These rankings are not site-specific and are intended to give you a solid pool of players to build your lineups from. I’m going to use the standard positions, Cather through Outfield in these rankings so be aware of that if you’re constructing teams on Draftkings where some players can play multiple positions.

I will use the 😍 ADORE feature in the MLB Domination Station to increase the projection of each of these players by 15%.

Doing this will allow me to get MORE of them than I would by default.
