What is up everyone?! Welcome to the Cup Series Setup for Fanduel. Here we will be breaking down the best plays for Fanduel purposes. My name is RyanLarkin88 and you can follow me @Larkin8 on twitter. This week the Cup Series is at Bristol Motor Speedway.  Our man Taco has the VIP Member Research Station and Domination Station ready to go for you to help create your lineups so be sure to check that out. Top Tier Plays

Kurt Busch

In case you missed it Kurt was too loose and didn’t get in a good lap. That has him starting 27th. This means he offers great upside for the top 10 machine that he is. Busch won here last fall and is a 6 time Bristol winner overall. He has huge upside potential but is also one of the safest plays on the slate. He will be chalk but for good reason. Of course with the increased potential for a poor finish that comes with racing at Bristol a fade could gain you some leverage on a large part of the playing field. Either way I expect Kurt to be a very important driver this week on Fanduel.

Kyle Busch

I feel like I can never get away from saying Kyle is a top play. He once again comes in as a heavy favorite this week. He offer position upside starting 17th but also has the ability to dominate sections of the race and collect those laps led points. Kyle has 10 finishes of 2nd or better including 7 wins. When he stays out of trouble he is lethal here.

Kyle Larson

Another driver who offers some strong position upside but also the ability to dominate a large portion of the race. He has led 489 laps in his last 4 Bristol races and finished 2nd in both races last year. Larson can simply out drive 95% of the field here and if he stays out of trouble should score incredibly well

Value Plays

Ricky Stenhouse Jr

Once again I am picking Stenhouse but so are a lot of people this week. Ricky has the best career average finish of EVERY single driver in recent Bristol history. He has 4 finishes of 4th or better and 6 top 10s in his last 10 races. He is another driver who just seems to have an unbelievable feel for Bristol and has also managed to stay out of trouble at a very difficult track to do so.

Matt Dibenedetto

Is another driver who will see a bump in ownership but for good reason. He has a fantastic Bristol record considering the equipment he drove here in the past. He was 3rd in 10 lap avg in practice and looks to be strong this week. Another potential chalk driver but for good reason.

Ryan Newman & Alex Bowman

I try to find less obvious plays here to try and help get some leverage on lower ownership. Considering I have been pretty chalky with the picks here are couple less obvious plays. Bowman is teammate to Both Chase Elliott and William Byron who start 1st and 2nd. This gives me hope the HMS cars have speed. In his two Bristol races with HMS he recorded 5th and 8th place finishes. He once again has that potential. Newman on the other hand joined Roush Fenway Racing who have been really good at Bristol. Pair that with 5 top 10s in the last 8 Bristol races I think he has a strong chance to score well. He starts 11th so I don’t expect him to see much ownership but I certainly think he can deliver.

Punts

Bubba Wallace

Wallace has a good feel for Bristol and finished 16th in this race last year. That was a solid finishing position but the more impressive thing was Bubba driving to the lead midway through the race and leading some laps. On equal status at that point in the race it was a good showing. He offers some good upside starting 28th and only cost $5000

Ross Chastain

Chastain certainly won’t be considered for a top 10 but he starts last (37th). If he can replicate his 26th from last fall at Bristol he will add 5.5 points in position diff. If we end up with a crazy Bristol race with crashes and DNFs this number could grow. While there is some downside to playing him I do think there could be some value here as well only costing $4000.
